soccerkid6 Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Such a stunning build... The shape of the monastery and overall composition of the build are superb Excellent story, the tragic death of Hexana is quite touching The fall foliage adds some nice color Always a joy to look at your builds Quote
SarahJoy Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Just stunning, all of it. The story, the trees, the swamp, the landscaping, the details of the monastery, that caved-in wall -- stunning. Quote
MassEditor Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 Amazing as always Mass. Great work! Thanks man! Great job with the texturing on the ruined monastery, MassEditor! The trees, rock-work, foliage, and color choice are all fantastic as well, excellent build! Thanks a ton Garmadon! It always takes a while for you to post something new but I suppose building amazing stuff like this takes some time. So, It's actually worth waiting for! Anyway, interesting but sad story, overwhelming building skills as always. Haha, thanks Kabel. Yeah, this thing ended up clogging up my workspace for far too long. I'm really dreading the idea of sorting this thing back out... Great story and the way you took the pictures really add to it. And your MOC, I'm speechless. Awesome Thanks man! LordDan Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 This is a very awesome build... the monastary has so many great details, the crumbling sections in particular look very realistic. The landscape and story are also great! Keep the great build coming! Quote
MassEditor Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 Thanks Lord Dan! As a side note to this build, I took it to a small LEGO event near my town Monday night. On the way back, a deer decided to jump out in front of my vehicle, obliterating both the deer and the front end of my SUV. The Monastery, which was located in the rear of the vehicle, hit the back seat and literally exploded. The whole build pretty much blew up into its separate parts - it was like the ultimate brick separator. Except, now there are thousands of LEGO parts scattered throughout my vehicle, imbedded into every crack and crevice. Maybe my insurance will cover that... I'm sure, however, that the police and tow truck guy had a blast watching me scoop up LEGO parts from my wrecked vehicle. Quote

Maxim I Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Great story! I love the colors used in the build as well! It is indeed a very awesome MOC, but I would like to remind you to not bump old topics. Especially not now because I have problems enough keeping track of the new MOC's popping up each day here... I know I am not a moderator or regulator, but I am sure they will say the same :) Quote
