gololo Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Hi, I'm quite new to this forum and mostly I read all the entries but never comment. Recently, I came to visit my parents and went to look for my old Lego sets. They are in a very poor condition. Many pieces are missing, many are bitten, many lost their original color... But I had very good memories of the "amazing" set I had when I was a kid: Legoland Shell Petrol Station #6371. I decided to try to salvage at least the pieces for the blue car and the small tow truck. And I succeded, haha. So I've decided to include them in my current Lego set collection. I have made a small, simple MOC of 2 very small motorail cars to carry these ancient pieces of my youth. I have ordered all the pieces (but the cars) in Bricklink and I am hoping I'll be building them this week :-] I made a render with LDD of my design: Known issues: - Car tires are not the original ones. Part 122c01 is not included in LDD anymore, so I used the closest I found - The hook (part 3135) is not in LDD either, so I used a build I found browsing around some time ago. I am afraid I can't give credits for it. Sorry. All and all, not impressive at all, but this little MOC is more about the sentimental value than anything else. Quote
Skystorm87 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I like it very much! but maybe it would be better to have the two cars on one longer wagon. Of course this way is more versitile Quote
