Hello all.

I've been perusing these forums for a while so I thought it was probably time to actually become a member.

LEGO was always my favourite toy as a kid, the only one that I would invariably return to time after time when I'd become bored with other toys. My mother tried to give it all away numerous times but luckily I always resisted and I still have all of my childhood LEGO. After seeing the LEGO movie, I was inspired to set up my own LEGO room in my basement (sadly much more modest than Will Farrel's).

I have plenty of ideas of different projects I want to build and hope to find some further information in techniques and ideas to help me.

I'm also in the GTA area with 3 LEGO stores and a LUG.

3? I thought there were only 2 in the GTA (Sherway and Fairview). Where's the third? Do you belong to ToroLug?

The third one is at Yorkdale Mall. Yes, I'm part of ToroLUG. We have a LUG meeting this Sunday (11/23) if you're interested.

I didn't know about the one in Yorkdale. I'll have to check it out sometime.

I'm not sure what I'm doing on Sunday yet. Where and what time is the meeting? Can non-members attend? What takes place at a LUG meeting?
