takuto20 Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Toon Zone reports that the latest issue of LEGO Magazine advertises LEGO Star Wars: The Movie's premiere on Cartoon Network: http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=2420 The latest issue of LEGO Magazine, now arriving in subscribers' mailboxes, features an ad for LEGO Star Wars: The Movie, premiering on Cartoon Network on May 8, 2005, at 7:00pm. The ad contains a shot of a CGI General Grievous and a few other shots of the cartoon, all in CGI and "built" out of LEGO pieces. *** I think they should have done the movie with REAL bricks, not CGI! The Middleman Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 I don't know if I'm going to watch it. I have a feeling it'll make me cringe. Quote

The Middleman Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 There was a really cool one LEGO did a while back for Spiderman, with real bricks. It was awesome. Think it was on iFilm or something. Look it up. Quote
jonfett Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Ah, the peril of Doc. Ock.. http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/spiderman2.html It is quite entertaining and looks very good, it wa made by the people who did the Monty Python Lego scene. Jon. Quote

"Camelot!" "Camelot!" "It's only a model." "Shhh!" Monty Python owns every other comedy out there. Anyone seen The Flying Circus? Quote
takuto20 Posted March 28, 2005 Author Posted March 28, 2005 Thanks for the tip! I found more info on that movie (awesome!) and also the file in various qualities: http://www.spiteyourface.com/spidey.html Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 My CW goes off at 6, O wel it looks a bit dodgy anyway :| Quote
Khorne Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 I don't think that a LEGO Star Wars movie would look as good in real bricks. I think that real bricks limit the action for a movie. And what's Star Wars without good lightsaber battles and spinning moves? *wacko* I love that Camelot movie to, it's so funny!!!! A long time ago, Lego had the movie on their website. "We're dancing on the table!!!" :D :D Quote
