mephistopheles Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Hi! Here is my entry for HSS Hospitality: And finally one pic where it is combined with my harbor: Sorry, I am still terrible at doing photos. Please also accept this post as HSS Nautical for obvious reasons :) Quote
Slegengr Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Very nice build, Mephistopheles! I particularly like the SNOT wall technique. It gives a nice effect. The fence around the border looks great as well. Using slope bricks for the roof may seem a simple technique, but I like the way it looks and the way you finished the ridge with more than just slope pieces. The only improvement I have to suggest would be to add more greebling in the yard around the inn. There are a few spots that seem bare and plain. Maybe add more foliage or wedge/round plates? Brick on, Mephistopheles! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Nice! I like the tree, and the colours are great too! Quote
Alfadas Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Wow, very nice! Love the details, plate wall and the dude fixing the roof. Very nice work! Quote
mccoyed Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 The build looks good, but I think the photography could be a bit better with more lighting and better camera positioning. Quote
Jorrith Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Awesome build! All those details... Also love how it connects to the other moc like a modular! Quote
LordDan Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Great build! I really love the atmosphere of this build and it looks exactly as I imagine an inn would! I really like the roof and walls of the building, and the surroundings add a lot to the scene too. The one part I am unsure about is the rock wall type things as a base. I think it is distracting and looks strange, since it is under the soil. I think it would look better with more brown, or something that looked like ground Quote
Hammerhand Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Very nice build, I like the look of the Inn. Nice job with the modularity too! Quote
mephistopheles Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 Thank all of you! I am glad some of you noticed the modularity :) @LordDan: yes, you are right. I might rebuild that. Quote
vitreolum Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Excellent build, beautiful house and tree. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Very pretty cottage The dormer windows look great and I like the fence with gate Quote
de Gothia Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Wow! You nailed it again my friend! That cottage is one good looking thing! Some better light in the photos and a better background and this would be top notch! Quote
