If he does mean this it would be quite cool. I think TinTin lego would be great and it is a possibility because of the films in progress directed by steven spielberg. Quote
snefroe Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 well they could easily link Lucky Luke to the Western theme. Lucky Luke has already sold about 400 million albums, so popularity wouldn't be a problem... creating the Daltons as minifigs, however, is a different story... X-D don't know they'd to do the smurfs, really. it would be an instant success, no doubt, but lego doesn't seem to be all that practical for smurfs... tintin... no question there... everything tintin turns gold instantly spirou/robbedoes... hm... in terms of importance to the world of comics, it's as big as tintin, but it never was as successfull that it would convince Lego into getting a license and i'm not sure if a license would be very cheap. The name "Spirou" is so much bigger than the comic... For Flanders and Holland, if i were Lego chief number 1, i'd get a "Suske en Wiske" license. This series is by far the most succesfull comic series in the world, considering the limited geographic market. they're selling at least 100.000 copies of every comic for a population of about 20 million... The story goes they sold about a million every year, a decade ago... That is HUGE. 8- Quote
