VintageLegoEra Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) Final Bags: Bags 8 & 9: ( 1 Minifigure + The Crane ) -The Minifigure: * Nothing especial, Normal Crane Driver with his Walkie Talkie -The Crane: - Before Going through photos, i want to show you something. While i was building , one of the Bricks has this mark: So You think it is a dirt. Right? But unfortunately NO. It is a sign of peeling of one of the layers. Looks like Lego Needs to be more careful with their Qualities. This is not 1st time i am having this issue, i had it in 1 of my Modular Building. To the Photos: * I love this Crane. I heard from some people saying that it is a big scale crane but it is not. it is just matching the set and Lego City scales. Even in reality, the cranes are big and a human will look tiny next to it! Overall Rating: 10/10 Extra: -Let See some features the Crane offers: * It has these Lower Fitting objects on both Sides to make the Crane stable while on duty * A rotating Mechanism to control/adjust the Thread and Hook * Cool way to pull up this section to install the Figure in Place And the Set as Whole! Remarks: (IMO) - This Set is a Must for any City Fan especially when there is a plan to make a City World. - Has the Necessary Elements (e.g: Food Shop, Transportation) - Although it is Very Simple in Build , but has a lot of fun and nice looking design. - The set has a lot of stickers. Was challenging to apply them nicely and i am happy they have been applied nicely! This was the review of the Lego Set 60026--Town Square. I hope you enjoyed it and hope to see you soon in other reviews! Cheers! Edited October 29, 2014 by VintageLegoEra Quote
Doom2099 Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 A great set overall, but definately some strange choices. The bus just has blank spaces in two of the wheel wells, which look like holes in the bus. And the legs that prop up the crane don't fold in nicely in the back, unless I'm missing something. Overall though, I wish we got a new set like this every year! You could have a great city in half a decade! Quote
mkeller234 Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Man, that rotating door takes up a ton of floor space! Quote
