Aitoruco Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 The Renfe Serie 319 (originally 1900) was originally a series of diesel-electric locomotives manufactured in the 1960s From 1980 this series began to be scrapped by the poor performance of the machine. As engine performance was very good we decided to keep it and some other components. In this way in 1982 RENFE MACOSA awarded the construction of 20 new locomotives that took advantage of some components of the original series, so the new series but reforms are to be considered as new locomotives. Entregadas entre 1985 y 1991 en esta subserie existen tres diferencias, las 20 primeras unidades tienen frontales con tres cristales, son las llamadas retales The model is 7 studs wide and uses a classic color combination of 80 of the Spanish railways called "star". The bogies are articulated so they can turn is smooth curves and is ready to put him arduino. I hope you enjoy it. Quote
legoman666 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Cool, any chance of some photos that aren't so tiny? Quote
harnbak Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Beautiful work and nice (tiny :-)) details. Train seems too long though. Quote
garethjellis Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I like the way you have detailed the stripes. 7 wide is tricky to get proportions right. What is the width and height of the train in real life? Quote
eurotrash Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I think this is a good representation of the original train. I like how you've managed to make the complex front and the striping really stands out. I agree that we need to see bigger pictures! Quote
Man with a hat Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Impressive work. You couldn't have done much better. Quote

zephyr1934 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Fantastic build with lots of great detailing (at least as far as the small images reveal) and the color scheme works really well. Quote
Steinkopf Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) Nicely done Aitoruco, you have done an excellent job in capturing the look and style of this class of locomotive. Edited October 24, 2014 by Steinkopf Quote
