Newbie help. Minifigs and parts /sci-fi interiors, where to get?

Yes i'm rather new to all this ;) Sorry if the thread is in the wrong section, i can't seem to post in the buy / deals-section yet.

What are these:

It's not Lego, right? I'd love to have dioramas like that! Any help where to find parts to make something like that or to full sci-fi diorama sets, it would be much appreciated :) Preferably in europe.

Hi, I'm a sci-fi fan myself!

It's all LEGO, in the both pictures.

First includes SpongeBob characters (cartoon by Nickelodeon). Second is mash-up from different themes (like Space Police III).

There are almost no sci-fi diorama sets, if something is released is mainly a some kind of a ship/vehicle.

From time to time there are some space themes (last was Galaxy Squad), but licensed themes like Star Wars, Marvel and DC are great part givers.

The best way to find parts you're looking for is BrickLink. There are many shops listed on that website - including a lot of European sellers.

Printed and stickered tiles are great, stckers are on bricklink too. PaB walls in the LEGO Brand stores are useful for plain tiles and bricks you need to build SF dioramas and scenes.
