Hello everybody, here is my first moc/ mod I've uploaded here.

While at brickfair VA over the past summer, I picked up some led lights for fun, which then made me start to moc up my Gunship. Here is the most current (although almost definitely not final) version. The main addition is the replacement of the bubble turrets with spotlights, as seen in the Clone Wars Umbara Arc. Also, sorry about the blurry pictures, I used my Iphone's camera rather than my nicer one.

And finally, a larger rear ramp.

Nice work, I've been mucking about with something very similar In LDD after watching "The Wrong Jedi" Clone Wars episode.

Can I ask how you handled the weight of the spotlights, and what kind of joint you used? The biggest problem I was facing was figuring out what kind of joint I could use to keep articulation but stop it sagging down.

Because if you look at this picture they stick out quite far, and seem to be where the arches on the EPII 75021 are. On LDD I ended up sealing up the arch and having a ball joint with some technic pins supporting a hexagonal shaped spotlight made up of a few bricks. I have a feeling in reality, the weight will be far too much for the technic pins, but I don't really have the Lego experience to know without trying it.

I mainly avoided them being accurate and being further out from the base of the vehicle, and to be honest, they aren't very heavy.

Nice work! I've been meaning to finish modding my gunship as well. I've added another door like on the CW version so it'll close all the way. I'll definitely need to make the ramp bigger now as well.

For those of you wondering- here is how I attached the lights-

Also, A little update-

I went stopped by a local craft store to see if they had anymore LEDs. And they did, but they were Christmas lights. Anyways, I bought them, and here they are-

I modded my 7676 after the 75021 in order to be more accurate. I closed the archway and scrapped the bacta tank, instead it now has a storage area and a place to which some ball turrets or in the is case some spot lights would attach to (which I intended on doing... eventually) This is way more accurate than the original.

I think a ball joint would work great in securing the lights or some ball turrets, my method works but is not the most secure.

Amazing mod indeed! I absolutely love what you did with the ball turrets!
