aol000xw Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 where do this fit besides 8880 rims? Also, which parts do this ball fit? Besides.... Thanks Quote
D3K Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 The 2907 Technic Ball With Grooves is also used in the swashplates of helicopters 8412 and 8856, where it functions in more or less the same way as in the 8880 hubs, except to allow the rotor to be tilted on two axis. The 2736 Axle Towball fits into any part with the female towball socket, for instance this part , and probably a whole lot more. Quote
Hrafn Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 The 2736 Axle Towball fits into any part with the female towball socket, for instance this part , and probably a whole lot more. Search the Bricklink catalog for 'towball' and for 'socket' and you'll find most of the parts that it fits with. Also, it fits (with friction) in the new mini ball joints that debuted with the Mixels and Chima Legend Beast sets. And of course it works with the 5L suspension arms found in the 2014 snowmobile set. Quote
Rockbrick Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 The 2907 ball with grooves has been used as a HOG steeriing 'wheel' too i'm sure somewhere in the smaller sets the 2736 Axle Towball will fit wherever you put it - its the size of the old yellow hands of the original lego figures from the 70s before the minifigs took over Quote
Captainowie Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Towball fits into an engine piston. That is not quite as useful as the other way around, which is the connecting rod fitting into any of the socket parts. Owen. Quote
