piterx Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 hello :) So, as i need to couple the samurai with another offroader of the same scale, i had the idea of building it here step by step as the chassis will be identical to the suzuki's one :) All im gonna do is just copy and paste the chassis changing the axles and maybe adding a winch if i can i need to change the way axles are made because i dont have enough dark gray hubs to host gears :D it will take something like a week or less, so stay tuned i hope you'll like this project and build along with me :) STEP 1 Quote
piterx Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 300 views and just you answering xD ill make it just for you lol STEP 3 Quote

__________________________ Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Might be cool. Jeep Wranglers are terrible cars (on the road) as daily drivers though. Quote
piterx Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 errata corrige: for proportions of the wrangler i had to move the rear axle one stud away so if you're building along with me here's where you need to update the chassis :) Here's the rear axlet i didnt have the right tan gear so i used this one but you guys...be sure to use the right one otherwise its gonna be FWD only lol and this is the way its mounted :) hope you like this strange WIP/chassis tutorial :P Quote
Nalyd997 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I wonder if this would work with my Land Rover Defender body... Quote
Nazgarot Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Really interesting front axle. I have to try it. Thanks for showing! -ED- Quote
AndyCW Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Everyone's always asking for instructions of your work. This is much bet than the WIP approach. v/r Any Quote
Black-Build Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Everything looks good, but I think there are some better looking wheels for a wrangler out there... Quote
piterx Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 i know :P but i only have the ones mounted on the samurai... i hate balloon wheels :D anyone knows if there are soùme 3rd party tyres i can buy instead of the 62.4? having more grip would be awesome Quote

They are about 74 mm and very expensive (24 $ for pair) Edited October 8, 2014 by rm8 Quote
zenzic Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 That car you posted looks great, rm8. Any more pictures to be found of that? I've search vk.com/technic_club but couldn't find it there. Quote
Black-Build Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Are you going to make the Wangler red? Quote
Black-Build Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I think a Wrangler just HAS to be red... Quote
