Fuppylodders Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Hey all, I'm not exactly sure where best to post this so please move it to where it belongs as you see fit, as although it is a topic about something sort of not Lego related, it was done using a MOC that I made, and done in Legoland... around tonnes of Lego!... Anyways, I have been with my girlfriend for 6 and a half years now. It was time to ask her the question she had been waiting for! I wanted it to be special, unique and personal, but many people have done many different things already. Then I remembered her favourite cow teddy bears! I had an idea to make a lego cow version of her favourite cow teddy, holding a sign, and have it placed in Legoland, as we had booked to go there for a holiday. When me and her would be walking around having a look, she would suddenly see it and be shocked, and then I'd be down on my knee asking her to be my wife. I emailed around and finally a lovely lady from Legoland Denmark was extremely helpful and arranged everything in Legoland while I built the cow, and sent it off. Pictures of the cow: The cow used to propose to my girlfriend! by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Modular cow! by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Location Cow was positioned at by Daft Vader1, on Flickr What I still have to mention, is that I made a couple of videos, and Legoland had arranged a film crew and some undercover staff to record the moments leading up to it, and of the proposal itself! This, I am informed, shall hopefully be made available tomorrow, or hopefully in due time once they have edited and created the video, and as far as I am aware, will be made available here: https://www.facebook...EGOLANDBillund. The staff were extremely helpful and most certainly did help to make my proposal go smoothly and in a special and unique way that she will always remember! badbob001 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 So you're making us wait for the video to know her answer? Of course, if it wasn't a happy ending, we would likely see a police-dash footage of something like this happening to miniland: Quote
Fuppylodders Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Haha yes, you would probably be right :p She did of course say yes :D And we then had such an amazing time :) Quote
