AlcoEmmen Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Hi all, This is my first attempt to post a MOC of me, (i know i'm not the greatest photographer, or designer), but pretty happy with the end result. lightningtiger Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Very nice house....though the roof being so flat though ? Anyway nice designing.....Brick On 'AlcoEmmen' ! Quote
eurotrash Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Very Christmassy! That wreath above the entrance is a nice touch. Perhaps the only thing I might suggest would be a pathway to the door with snow piled up haphazardly (using white cheese slopes) as a minifig with a snowshovel working hard to clear it. Thanks for sharing it with us. Quote
Andy D Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) Very nice! Mid-Century modern style house with a ceiling high enough for the Toy a Shop Christmas tree. I agree with Eurotrash about the cheese slope snow pathway and minifig shoveling. That would be a finishing touch. Andy D Edited September 28, 2014 by Andy D Quote
CityBuilder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 That's a great mini mansion, although the flat roof looks a little odd. Still great though! Also, I don't think I've ever seen those tree bricks with snow on them before. Quote
cgarison Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Very nice modern styled house. I also think the shoveled path to the front door would be nice. Quote
lowbike1 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I like how you did the roof, where is this baseplate from? Quote
Withacee Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Well, the snowy trees must have cost you a fortune, but I definitely like this MOC. Keep clicking those bricks together! Quote
eurotrash Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 It took me a while to find it, but oirad 72 built an excellent snowy swept path Here's a link to the thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=77923 Quote
TheLegoDr Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Pretty neat overall, but I don't love the floor to ceiling windows. I'd think there would be some wall structure inbetween it, at least for a brick height at the top. I love lots of windows otherwise. I'd agree on making the roof more angled to fit in with the rest of the line. Although some of those larger turn of the century mansions are pretty flat roofed. And then, definitely add the sidewalk people mentioned. That should help round out the MOC. Quote
3BrickFriends Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 the roof is very thin but apart from that nice work. Quote
