Nalyd997 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone, I just did a review on some custom tires I bought on Ebay. Link to purchase: http://www.ebay.com....=item2c86b6ec84 Edited September 26, 2014 by Alasdair Ryan embeded video Quote
Vader X Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I have these same tires on my 41999.... Much better than stock! Just wish they had been a tiny bit wider. Quote
squizz Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Thanks for that....just brought some. Cheers pete Quote
Mikuri Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 So in the end... Do you recommand those? Did you tried other brands? Quote
Nalyd997 Posted September 26, 2014 Author Posted September 26, 2014 @Mikuri So in the end... Do you recommand those? Did you tried other brands? These tires are great as I said in the description I think. For $17 you can't pass them! And no I haven't tried any other tires. Being a student axial ripsaws, ansmaans and superswampers are quite expensive. I would prefer a lego set Quote
zux Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Are these the same as advise on a thread Sariel started recently? Quote
750ACE Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Are these the same as advise on a thread Sariel started recently? Yes, very close if not the same. Almost identical to RC4WD... Quote
aol000xw Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 As I said on Sariel's thread, Just don't go for the 96mm version, 106mm ones are way better. The rubber isn't as sticky as RC4WD, a quite noticeable difference in grip, but they are way better than anything Lego. Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 How is the grip between the tire and the rim - does it slip like those by LEGO? I hope that rubber bands are not necessary for those. Quote
Vader X Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 My 41999 will crawl right up the wall with these tires...I just wish would have know about the 106 mm before I purchased them. They are nice and soft. Night and Day from Lego tires Quote
