Gongoro73 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Just to introduce myself. I've been abducted by modulars in the last year, coming back from a long time dark age period (25 years). I began with Lego very early, at the tender age of six or seven, and managed to build my own quite big Legoland city until the age of 14. Then, my mother gave it all my Lego away to somebody, as I loose interest in it. Such a shame. I had nearly every Legoland release fro 1979 to 1986 or so. Everytime I think of it, makes me want to cry... Last year I first noticed the PC and I was instantly hooked. I remember I thought "Well, Lego is in a different league, now". During this year I've been busy getting all the modulars available, so now I own them all except for MS, GG and CC. These will be my main focus for the next months. Bricklinked, of course. After these and the new modular, I will begin to plan my own MOCS, since the sting has bitten me so hard. One modular per year seems a long time to wait for me! Well, again, hello to everybody. So glad to be part of this amazing community. Cheers from Spain. Quote
Withacee Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Hey Gongoro73, Welcome; you will find a lot of peers here. The Town forum is very active. Bricklinking the first three modulars is a challenge (I did it as well, because I missed allt hree of them, like you), but it's doable. Definitely worth the effort. Hope to see some of your MOCs in the future! Keep clicking those bricks together! Quote
Gongoro73 Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 Hi, Withacee, thanks for your warm welcoming. Yes, I know it's a challenge and time consuming task, but there's no way I'm gonna miss those gorgeous landmark sets (especially CC and GG). MOCs will come later. One thing at a time. Cheers! Quote
