nebraska Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Here is my recent addition to my the UP Streamliner. The Union Pacific # 9009 Dome Lounge Car - aka as later in life as 'City of San Francisco'. A bit more to follow up on but mostly done…mostly.. It has a complete interior which includes stairwell, chairs, restrooms, and the bar on the lower portion. The interior is lighted along with a lighted 'Tomar' drumhead for the Los Angeles Limited. v6TransAM Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) When I say I hate you, please do not take it the wrong way. Your builds are awesome. I wish I had the time/money to do builds like yours. Mind sharing a bit of info on your truck design? Edited September 22, 2014 by v6TransAM Quote
garethjellis Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Nice design, I like the use of the lights. I also think that 9 wide fits well ! Quote
zephyr1934 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Um... excuse me while I pick my mouth up off the floor. Simply fantastic, you did a great job capturing the look and feel of the blunt end observation cars. Though, you are a terrible tease mentioning that there is a complete interior without ever showing us (grin, but I am sure all will be revealed in time). Great work and the lighting is top notch. snowvictim Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Does it require a 4 foot long curve to turn? Quote
cgarison Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Very nice build. The clear pieces for the dome and the lights really set off the MOC. Quote
Jared Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Stunning execution, especially the lights! Quote
Adolfo Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Very nice work! It looks heavy, realistic and the lights effect is real a plus for the MOC. Congrats! Quote
