raven1280 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Always wanted the 7715 when I was a kid but only had the 7722 steam train. So I've decided to build and modern version of the 7715. So far I have 3 passenger cars and one baggage car. I think the baggage car needs some more detail on the inside but now I'm now going to start working on the steam train and coal tender. Heres a few pictures. Quote
Rail Co Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 I really like the concept of modernizing loco, sets, and train cars! The design is really good! I love the way you made the luggage rack with the rubber bands to hold the luggage in. Can't wait to see the locomotive! Love to see more! -RailCo Quote
tman684 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Wow! I really like the luggage rack! Good work on the trains, I really like the side doors and the black connector doors too. Sorry if that sounds silly, I'm not too much of a train fan, even though I own a few different train sets Quote
snowvictim Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I like the design of the wagons, but I think it might look better with the light grey top being changed with a white top. Red, white, blue composes nicely, as you can see with many flags. Quote
Redimus Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Those look really smart. Have you considered making the bogies a little bit longer? I've always felt the standard Lego 6 stud long bogie looks too short. Quote

BricksMcgee Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Love the luggage car. Is that a safe from the western sets I see? Quote

snowvictim Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I'm looking forward to seeing how the engine comes out. Good work so far! Quote
cgarison Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Awesome! Nice details and great job bringing back the nostalgia of the older set! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Very nice restyling, now you need a new steam locomotive ...how can you say about a new version of the set 7750? Quote
Heppeng Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Might not be so difficult, how close are the new steam train wheels in size compared to those of 7750? Quote
BricksMcgee Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Yes it is. Can tell which Lego sets I had as a kid ;) Quote
