system Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Hi Going to play some racing with kids. What tires would work well on laminate and carpets? I have some old rubber ones, but there is no friction on laminate when it rotating too fast. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I have not had any problems with rubber tyres on carpet, but the hard plastic wheels just skid everywhere no matter what surface they are on. Maybe some extra balast is called for? Quote
Modelmaker Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) Sorry not a very helpful comment but you just reminded me of a childhood game i used to play. Me and my cousins used to build Lego racecars and push them down the stairs. We all started on 100 points and for every part that broke off your car you lost 1 point. First to zero points lost. Cars where rebuilt after each go. Technic pins not allowed it was a great way to learn how to build strong cars Hint: it's all about plates Edited September 19, 2014 by Modelmaker Quote
