Skinny Boy Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 These are new to me except the first one. Although the last one is huge Quote
snefroe Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 yeah... i think it was announced at the beginning of the year, so not really news anymore... *sad* Quote
Skinny Boy Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 yeah... i think it was announced at the beginning of the year, so not really news anymore... *sad* I was just sayin the two other pics are cool and new to me Quote
Stauder Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 The first 2 Ive seen but the last one Is new to me, was that one seen too? Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 I don't recall the last pic either !! I'll move this in the appropriate forum ;-) You know what I don't understand in those creator sets ? The house itself is MF sized BUT the details are microscaled *wacko* How odd !! *yoda* Quote
oo7 Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Yes, I too have no recollection of the third picture although I have seen the first two multiple times. I like the second the best for my purposes..... You know what I don't understand in those creator sets ? The house itself is MF sized BUT the details are microscaled *wacko* How odd !! Micro scale? It all looks like minifigure scale to me. The seesaw, a kiddie basketball hoop, the minifig accessory garbage can. Quote

The house itself is MF sized BUT the details are microscaled *wacko* How odd !! *yoda* that's called 'the space syndrome" *yoda* ; it's like a big space ship that only looks huge on the outside, because of lots of small details and size, but inside there's a MF interior. sure, it doesn't make any sense, Edited June 21, 2007 by snefroe1 Quote

xwingyoda Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 can you link to the picture PLoZ? Sure thing ;-) @007: Sure its microscale, just look at the plants (normal cone), the bench are too small for a MF, the basketball hoop is waaay too small for a ball, the recliner is nly 1 stud wide and mfs requir 2 studs ;-) @Sne: Yeay I agree its just sensless BUT this is one of the best looking house ever 8- Quote
Holodoc Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 I just realized the top of the roofs (in all 3 houses). Why in all this world didn Quote
john cleese Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 no i meant i link to the medical ship moc but thanks anyway yoda Quote
Holodoc Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Is this a set or a moc? Could you guys just quote what you are referring to? *wacko* So, what did you mean: Is the house a set or a moc? Or Admiral Gidden's Medical ship? If it Quote
Norrington Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Hhmm... Maybe I could buy this and make it compatiable with Cafe Corner as a down-town villa... Quote
Siegfried Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I really want this set. The colours (IMHO) are way more usefull than the 4956 house, even though I am considering buying that as well... I love the new third design. I hope there are instructions for all three, and going by 4953 and 4939 there probably will be. On the subject of the new Creator sets, I have been surprised at the absence of ideas. I was reading a the blog of the guy who designed the Fast Flyers set... http://sideshowjamie.livejournal.com/12065.html ...and he says that there was supposed to be "INSPIRATION" pictures for a "Speedboat" and a "Space Shuttle". I bought that set, and there were no idea pictures at all. Anyone know why Lego decided to skip them? Anyone besides me miss them? I loved the ideas in the previous sets. Quote
Landlubber Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Are these released over in Euro and Americ yet? I bought 3 of them today and am kinda suprised that you guys are still talking about new pictures of it. Quote

Could you make a nice review for us, that would be cool ;-) *yoda* Quote
Siegfried Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Really, where di you buy them ? Could you make a nice review for us, that would be cool ;-) *yoda* They have been sighted and bought in Australia, but none in my locality. Quote
Landlubber Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 How bout that? We only just got the Harbour and concrete truck and stuff a couple weeks ago. Then I'm in the store (Myer) 2 days later and see the new Creator house. Best thing is, they were in the middle of their stocktake sale when all the new stuff was released, so all sets were 20% off. My Girlfriend spent about $2000 in 1 week just on Lego. I'd love to do a review, but unfortunately I didn't build the set "by the book" so to speak. The GF bought 2 for her town (still unopened) but I'm into pirates and castle and figured it might make a nice elaborate home for my Carribean Harbour. 1 wasn't elaborate enough though, and because I had 2 sets..... I sorta modded it a little bit. Still a few details to do. Gotta figure out where it fits in before landscaping. Sorry, couldn't resist playing. As for the set though, it's brilliant. There are so many bricks its not funny. Good parts set. Plenty of roof tiles, tan bricks and if you need large amounts of grey headlight bricks then this is the set for you. Build time for the double townhouse was the same as the running time for the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie. (it was cold and windy, that was the movie on tv. Stop looking at me funny :-P ) And yes, there are instructions for all 3. Quote
Holodoc Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 My Girlfriend spent about $2000 in 1 week just on Lego. Ok, it Quote
Siegfried Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Interestingly I just downloaded the instructions for this set from... http://www.br-eng.info/words/index.php/sea...s/?ins_qry=4954 ...and I was surprised that there are no middle floors for the multi-level models. Disappointing, but I still want it! Quote
Landlubber Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 That was one of the bad things about this set. There are no floors whatsoever. As soon as you walk in the front door you would fall into the half basement thingy. I'll fix it eventually though. Quote
Wout Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 (edited) Marakoeschtra from Lowlug found the inventory on Bricklink 8-| :-) :-P ;-) I tried to make a link but it didn't work :'-( Edited July 3, 2007 by Wout Quote
