Richard Dower Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I recently bought Technic 9391 BNIB from a German Ebay seller, but i noticed that the mould design/parts are different then what is listed on Bricklink: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=9391-1 Specifically part #2905....the set i got has the newer mould design part #99773: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=99773 Also part # 3647 is not in the set and replaced with the newe mould design part #10928: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=10928 The reason i point this out is i thought Bricklink was 100% accurate when it comes to what sets have what mould designs?, this is very important if you want to build old sets and have part list/mould designs 100% accurate. Balrog Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Sometimes, newer production runs of sets have parts from newer molds as well. Or even get reverted to older parts. Afaik this happened before, especially with the triangle piece. Also, I wouldn't mind getting the newer 8T gear. The second case also happened not too long ago with the new worm gear and newer production runs of the set where it occured suddenly had this piece substitued with the old worm gear as well as pieces and instructions to complement the change. Usually, the Bricklink parts lists are correct. But changes like described happen from time to time and will not be updated on BL (or a lot later). Quote
