This is my latest MOC, a LEGO Technic air traffic control tower. This fits in with my aircraft theme and is the first time I have tried to build a LEGO Technic building.

It features a rear access ladder, desk, radar dish and two aerials, one for VHF air band communications to planes and the second is a UHF aerial for the ground crews.

Also something unique! :classic:

I'd try to use some flat panels for the "walls" in the tower though.. Seeing as it is 13 studs wide, you should be able to fit flat 5x11 panels on all sides (except the rear), or at least the front!

Did you remove it youself, or did they ban it? I like the idea of the whole aeronautic infrastructure and not just aircrafts. Great project as a whole.

I asked for it to be removed as I have now sold ALL my LEGO Technic....

Aw come on didn't you learn the first time; it isn't a good idea to sell the Technic :sceptic: . However, if it is something personal I do respect that and I hope you choose to come back to the hobby again

Nicely done ... but .. I must say that I've never seen a tracked vehicle pulling an airplane. To be technically 'correct' ... tracked vehciles typically go on rough non-paved surfaces, whereas a plane requires a high-quality smooth/surface ... seems the two are so out of place together .... :)
