TWO2SEVEN Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I have been experimenting with designing some modulars on LDD. I would like to be able to show/post them as a whole model and also seperated in to floors. For now, I have been just building each floor side by side, but this doesnt allow for me to see the entire finished structure. Is there a (simple) way to do this in LDD? Also, I have used the screenshot tool in both LDD and OSX but the pictures don't look great. Is there a better way? Thank you! Quote
legolijntje Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Regarding the multiple floors. I think it would be the best to make every floor a seperate group. I'm not really a LDD user (I use LDraw a lot) so other people could help you better with groups if you need more help. About your screenshots, I can recommend LDD2pov-ray. It's a widely used piece of software. You can find the EB topic here. Quote

Classicsmiley Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 First, make sure your floors are grouped. Second, you'll need to temporarily replace a tile at the top edge of a floor with a plate, which will allow you to connect the floor above. After you do that, you can remove the plate and put the tile back in place. Quote
