Zwenkka Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I know it's a little old moc already but I thought I should post it here since it's not mentioned here yet. The disc changer changes the disc when it receives a message from the smartphone via bluetooth. The message contains a number from 1 to 32 that determines which disc will be changed. When the message is received the changer removes an old disc from the xbox and replaces it with the chosen one. Feel free to ask for more information :) Some numbers: 3 NXTs 7 NXT servos 1 RC-motor 1 touch sensor 1 light sensor (for reseting "the carousel") 2 colour sensors 1 pressure sensor 3054 parts 1 smartphone average change time is around 42 seconds Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) Ha! That is wild, creative, and ingenious! If I were a bigger gamer (only have 4) or had DVD's, this would be something I'd love to have. Thanks for sharing, I love seeing task functional MOCs. It made me smile Edited September 12, 2014 by LEGO Guy Bri Quote
kieran Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Nice work. Seems to work really well Quote
Thor Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I see you have really fun with NXT,lego and xbox.Awesome.:) Quote
BusterHaus Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Wow, that's a big build. Very well done. A question: why have the tower travel back and forth? Couldn't you clear the carousel by only swinging the (longer?) arm and thus remove 1 motor? Quote
dr_spock Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Cool. Can you program it to play the games for you too? Quote
Sariel Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Brilliant! Too bad most of my games are digital versions :) Quote
