	This is the discussion thread for licensed/rare/interesting parts that are available from Lego's Bricks and Pieces Service.

<p>
	<strong>What is Bricks and Pieces?</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Bricks and pieces is Lego's replacement parts service. There are sections for getting replacements for broken/missing pieces or, for our purposes, purchasing pieces. Since its directly from Lego there are many rare or hard to find pieces for much less than they are on Bricklink. Just2Good has a tutorial video on the whole process <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4aN9nbE2i8" rel="external nofollow">here </a>.
</p>

<p>
	New pieces are posted regularly in this thread so jump to the most recent page to see what's available <img alt=":classic:" data-emoticon="" src="https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/storagebackend/custom-emoji/emoticons/default_default_classic.gif" title=":classic:" />

			Wouldnt it be a good move to make a new Spiderverse set for the summer? Seeing as it could capitalize on the CMF and a new Spider-man movie coming out.<br />
			Honestly I'd wish for the Spider-verse subtheme to become as prevalent as the MCU sets, it totally deserves it and the universe shows no signs of stopping. Aside from that it's been a looooong while since I've had this much fun collecting a CMF and displaying these colourful and unique figures.
		</p>

<p>
	There’s great potential filling some gaps that the current ATSV set and CMF haven’t yet filled (e.g. Prowler’s motorbike). I can see them going dormant with more sets until the next film releases though.
</p>

<p>
	As much as I share the cynicism a lot of you have around Doomsday, I can’t deny I’m feeling quite excited for the film and what Lego sets we’ll get around it. Presumably the Doomsday wave should release around October? The initial No Way Home tie-in sets released that month ahead of the film’s release in December.

			That’s fairly realistic, sadly. Though at this point, a Batman set that comes with any character beside Batsy himself can already be considered a win <img alt=":snicker:" data-emoticon="" src="https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/storagebackend/custom-emoji/default_snicker.gif" title=":snicker:" />

	Batman vs Gold Batman mech battle
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I got a promotional email from BBTS today showing off some of their bestsellers from the year, and I thought it was funny that the DC collection's bestseller thumbnail was 90% batmen figures. But even then, it was batman and his villains, and the different batsuits were <em>actually different.</em> I didn't know the specific ones, but there was a red and gold batsuit, a white batsuit covered in guns, a spiky batsuit. Compared to the wave we're getting in march, where it's five batman figures and four of them look pretty similar at first glance. It's not even that we only get batmen figures, it's that we only get batsuits, and even then mostly batsuits that aren't all that visually distinct. I'm not asking for the alien/alternate personality batman in red and purple, but at this point even an Arctic batman would be a win. At this point I'd consider the Batman Who Laughs a win, and I HATE the Batman Who Laughs.

<p>
	Lego released an Enterprise-D set last year with a great selection of the Next Generation cast as minifigures, but just a small display stand to line them up on. As an alternative, I've designed this bridge diorama using the Studio software.
</p>

<p>
	I've been rewatching TNG for the past few months and it was a really fun challenge trying to capture all the little details of the iconic bridge design using real bricks. There are lots of reference photos to work from, but my favourite resource was this 3D rendering of the bridge on <a href="https://roddenberry.x.io/2370-uss-enterprise-ncc-1701-d/?view=Main" rel="external nofollow">Gene Roddenberry's archive website</a> - well worth a visit for any Star Trek fan! It was very satisfying figuring out how to recreate details like the Okudagram console graphics using stacked coloured plates, or the curved wooden panel using dinosaur tails and candle pieces.
</p>

<p>
	The diorama is done at a compressed scale compared to the actual filming set, but I wanted something that could comfortably fit on a shelf alongside the Enterprise while still capturing all the most important elements. I'm currently working away on a modular extension which will add the viewscreen portion of the bridge, and which could be attached or displayed separately. I'd love to do a few more TNG-inspired models while we're waiting for more official sets from Lego. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this design!<br />

	11386 is said to include the three houses, a boat, and a jellyfish field plus minifigs of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward. Gary is also featured.

<p>
	So glad to see the return of the final theme on my wishlist after HP, LotR, Indy, and PotC <img alt=":excited:" data-emoticon="" src="https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/storagebackend/custom-emoji/default_excited.gif" title=":excited:" /> Fingers crossed for the Krusty Krab next year!

	<strong>Hello everyone and thank you for accepting me in the site!</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>After being away from the hobby for nearly 20 years, as if by chance I ended up rekindling the flame for LEGO once again.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Over the past year and a half I have been working from home and I have been looking for new way to entertain myself.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Accidentally I saw that the Harry Potter line had been revived over the last couple of years, so I decided to collect it as I was a huge HP fan as a child and building stuff after work seemed like a good way to relax while listening to some jazz.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>One thing let to another and as of a month or so now I have been building a full Hogwarts Castle MOC in quite an ambitious scale too, as it turns out.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Like I said, I have been away from the hobby for quite some time, but it is great to see that unlike the 90s, nowadays it is quite easy to share with people and find like-minded souls for any passion you might have.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Being an AFOL now and easily being considered somewhat of a boomer (lol), being out there is somewhat new to me, but nevertheless to make this process easier, I have made a YouTube channel and an Instagram where I am documenting my progress and various difficulties I happen to encounter while building and designing.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>So for anyone who might be interested, any kind of opinions, comments and feedback are more than welcome!</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Looking forward to delving into the LEGO hobby once again and finding new friends within the community!</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Thank you</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Hello all, wanted to share some nice pictures of the current state of the castle for those of you that don't follow me on Instagram.</strong>

<p>
	<strong>Really appreciate if you follow me on You Tube and Instagram. Really helps a lot. Thanks for all the feedback!</strong>

<p>
	The theme codenamed "Lemon" is confirmed to be Sonic the Hedgehog. The sets are similar to the Mario line in that they combine into a board game/platformer, but they <em>will</em> include Minifigs. Each set also has a launcher for a clear plastic ball that Sonic can be placed into (constructed similarly to some Ninjago spinners).

	<strong>Outside of my giant Hogwarts MOC, I also like to spend time creating my own minifigures of popular fandom characters from films, books, games etc. (obviously ones that don't exist in any official LEGO lines yet).</strong>

<p>
	<strong>I find the process interesting and similar to trying to solve a puzzle or complete a personal challenge. I do this using only official LEGO pieces.</strong>

	Hi! Sorry for the slow update. It turns out I've been very busy putting the lego together, who knew!<br />
	In any case, I've mixed every bag from every pokémon set together at once, and I've been going through the process of building the sets.<br />
	After 2 weeks, I've finished the mini center and the badges, and I'm moving on to the eevee.<br />
	It feels good to see my progress, and I think the badges look great.<br />

	Im a big fan of Lego architecture and also a proud Belgian.  While walking around Brussels, I realized that the Brussels Courthouse would make a great, fairly large LEGO Architecture set with around 4,000 pieces or more. First, I wanted to check here to see if anyone knew if this had already been proposed and, more importantly, if it’s a good idea. Also, I’m a very poor builder on Brickling Studio, so if anyone could help me build the model for LEGO ideas or is interested in helping me, I’d be very grateful.

	Now that the second set in this theme (<span>#77093</span> - Ocarina of Time - The Final Battle) has been officially revealed and made available for pre-order, I thought the theme should have its own thread separate from the overarching Video Games thread.
</p>

<p>
	The only serious speculation I have at this time is that they might release some tie-in playsets when the live-action movie comes out next year, but without more information about said movie, I can't imagine what the sets might be like.

	Let's start with another series of stop-motion animations I've shot for The LEGO Group, Universal Pictures, and Dreamworks. This time they'll all be about sets from the Netflix series Jurassic Park: Chaos Theory. <p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					There's always room for you<br />
					If you wanna be my friend<br />
					We are, we are on the cruise!<br />
					We are!
				</p>

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					It's been around since 1997 but this year is the first time Lego has delved into the world of One Piece. Beginning as a serialized manga before production began on the anime, Netflix picked up the long-running show in 2023 to produce a live action version. Season 2 of the live action adaptation airs next year in 2026. That made 2025 the perfect time for Lego to team up and create the first wave of One Piece sets.
				</p>

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					This is my 5th and final review of this theme. You can read my review of the <a href="https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/210313-review-75639-one-piece-the-going-merry-pirate-ship/" rel="">Going Merry</a>, the <a href="https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/210535-review-75636-one-piece-windmill-village-hut/" rel="">Windmill Village Hut</a>, <a href="https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/210598-review-75637-one-piece-buggy-the-clowns-circus-tent/" rel="">Buggy's Circus Tent</a> and <a href="https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/210700-review-75638-one-piece-battle-at-arlong-park/" rel="">Battle at Arlong Park</a> respectively.
				</p>

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					Chronologically, this set covers the 5th an 6th episodes of the 8 episode season 1. But what would One Piece be without a crazy amount of back-story episodes! So let's go back in time before the battle at Arlong Park and see what makes the Baratie so special.

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					<img alt="1280x907.jpg" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="88.48" height="725" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%200.jpg/1280x907.jpg" />
				</p>

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					The box is massive as benefits a set of this size. Meant to be more of an Icons style display piece, the box forgoes the colorful background and opts for a classy black instead.
				</p>

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					<img alt="1280x1068.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="854" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%201%20(1).JPG/1280x1068.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					Inside the box no space there is no empty space. It is jam packed with bricks.
				</p>

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					<img alt="1280x1061.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="848" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%201%20(2).JPG/1280x1061.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					We get 2 packages for the instruction books and stickers.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x873.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="85.16" height="698" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%201%20(3).JPG/1280x873.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					And we get 2 sticker sheets. The stickers are used sparingly, but for a set this size I wish we had gotten prints instead.
				</p>

				<p>
					<span style="color:#f1c40f;"><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255);font-size:14px;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>THE BUILD</strong></span></span></span>
				</p>

				<p>
					Unfortunately, first impressions on this build are not the best. The build starts with the fish's mouth at the front of the ship. And just a couple bags in the unsightly injection points are plentiful. But perhaps even more jarring is the color variance of the 1x4 modified plates. Most have the standard hue, but a few are more peachy.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1069.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="855" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%202%20(1).JPG/1280x1069.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Can you spot the 3 off-colored pieces here?
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x855.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="83.50" height="684" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%202%20(3).JPG/1280x855.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The unsightly injection mold points continue all through the set. It's barely noticeable on some pieces, but on colors like reddish brown it's an awful eyesore. Those flaws aside, the build was fantastic from start to finish.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x913.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="89.06" height="730" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%202%20(2).JPG/1280x913.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The front of the mouth is built up with a wide variety of pieces to give it both a rounded shape and secure connection points.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1011.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="98.63" height="808" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%203%20(1).JPG/1280x1011.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Shaping for the fish head is achieved by using newer curved pieces.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%201%20(4).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Other curves are made using a new, shorter version of a classic curved brick. The tan is what's in the set, the grey is what existed before.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1278.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1022" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(1).JPG/1280x1278.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The end result is a very close replica of the front of the Baratie.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x853.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="83.20" height="682" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%203%20(2).JPG/1280x853.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Moving on to the rest of the floating restaurant we build the grand staircase allowing guests to descend to the dinning area. This is done by stacking 1x5 technic plates, 1x4 rounded plates, and tiles and wedge plates.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1433.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="914" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%203%20(3).JPG/1280x1433.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The result looks excellent.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x779.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="75.98" height="623" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%203%20(4).JPG/1280x779.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Put together, the sections start to take on the shape of the Baratie.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%203%20(6).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					To get the shape of the ship, large panels are built for the right and left sides and then attached using clips.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%203%20(7).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					This is a common technique in sets these days, but the way the Baratie uses the curved bricks to get a perfectly flush connection is impressive.

				</p>

				<p>
					The left panel is connected using this unique method.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x853.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="83.20" height="682" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%204%20(2).JPG/1280x853.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					And the right panel is connected using clips.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x639.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="62.30" height="511" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%203%20(8).JPG/1280x639.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Only half-way through the bags but already the set is too big for my light-box!
				</p>

				<p>
					Next I have to show an oddity I've never noticed in Lego pieces before.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x853.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="83.20" height="682" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%204%20(1).JPG/1280x853.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					As I was finishing the right panel I noticed an odd gap between these brown L-tiles. So I did some testing.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x2411.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="543" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(2).JPG/1280x2411.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The top row are the tiles included in the Baratie set. The bottom four rows are pieces from my collection. You can see that the black and gray have no noticeable gap. However, even my older browns have a little more of a gap.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x2348.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="558" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(3).JPG/1280x2348.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Rotate the pieces and the gap disappears from the newer brown L-tiles.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(4).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					So I put the tiles back, rotated this time and you can see that a new gap is there.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(5).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					And here's back at the original state. These are very odd variances in piece sizes. Has anyone else had this problem?
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x946.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="92.29" height="756" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(1).JPG/1280x946.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Rounding off my list of complaints, here are some more injection mold marks extra noticeable on the pearl gold pieces.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(6).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					And here are 2 of the stickers used to make a lantern. My fingerprints mar the overall affect and I question if it was really necessary to use stickers at all for this part.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(7).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The lanterns hang belong the railing and above the main door.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x912.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="88.96" height="729" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(2).JPG/1280x912.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The back of the model is doll-house style with lots of space to place figures. The curved seats allow 3 minifigures to be seated comfortably.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(8).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The orange seats are built on turn tables and can therefore move though they aren't intended to.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x853.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="83.20" height="682" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(3).JPG/1280x853.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The kitchen is well furnished with food and equipment, though it's very tight and hard to place minifigures. Getting Luffy into his Chore-Boy position at the sink took many tries!
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(12).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Leading out of the kitchen is a back door. If you're a starving pirate this is where you enter so that Sanji can feed you.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x853.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="83.20" height="682" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(4).JPG/1280x853.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Zeff's office has a transponder snail and some other pirate paraphernalia. Inside the cabinet is a pearly pink jar. If this is a reference to something I don't know what!
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x819.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="79.88" height="655" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(5).JPG/1280x819.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The upper levels house treasure. This has nothing to do with the show, live action or anime. But it's a nice way to fill the space.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x780.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="76.07" height="624" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(6).JPG/1280x780.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The top part can come off to allow access underneath, but it's not really needed.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(9).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					In front of the main door is a weathered platform to recreate Mihawk and Zoro's fight. I like the weathered look, but having those gaps filled with plates would have been better. It's hard to pose more than a couple figures on the platform since the gaps in the tiles don't allow the figures to pivot at all.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x797.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="77.73" height="637" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(10).JPG/1280x797.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The splat gear turns to two round jumper plates allowing to figures to sword fight each other. This is a brilliant idea. However, with the sword in Zoro's mouth and the size of Mihawk's blade, Yoru, it means if you fight with them their blades are always knocking against the mermaid statues. The platform should have been at least 1 stud longer.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(15).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Speaking of swords. Mihawk's blade is an amazing new element. It has a stud on one side of the handle to allow it to stick to the neck bracket on Mihawk for easy carrying. And Zoro's third blade, which he holds with his moth is also a new element. It can be held by a hand, but the plastic is soft and mine got damaged by putting in a hand. I really wish they would have made a neck-bracket with a clip to hold any sword. But I guess the sword wouldn't have been as close to Zoro's mouth then.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1099.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="879" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%208%20(2).JPG/1280x1099.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Much like the Going Merry, the Baratie tries to use forced perspective to get both a display model and a playset in one. However, where the Going Merry does it well, the Baratie fails in many aspects. The front of the Going Merry is mostly minifigure scale and moving back it becomes more and more micro. The Baratie jumps between two scales more sporadically. The micro door between the fish's mouth and the main door is micro scale, but it's a jarring contrast between the two minifigure scale parts. The outside balcony in front of the ship's sign are minifigure scale, but the sign itself is micro scale. It's tricky to balance the scales like that and the Baratie doesn't quite make it.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x896.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="87.50" height="716" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%208.JPG/1280x896.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Put the Going Merry up next to the Baratie and the scale doesn't work either. The Baratie should be much bigger in size comparison.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1674.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="783" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%208%20(3).JPG/1280x1674.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The sections that are minifigure scale are great, it's the micro scale that doesn't seem to fit.
				</p>

				<p>
					<span style="color:#f1c40f;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>THE MINIFIGURES</b></span></span>
				</p>

				<p>
					There are a total of 10 charaters included in this set.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x690.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="67.29" height="552" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(10).JPG/1280x690.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					First off we have the main crew of the Straw-Hat Pirates. Zoro, Nami, Luffy, Usopp and Sanji.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x697.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="68.07" height="557" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(11).JPG/1280x697.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					They all have alternate faces and pieces created specifically for One Piece.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x738.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="71.97" height="590" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%205%20(8).JPG/1280x738.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					They other five are Zeff, the owner of the Baratie; Garp, a navy Vice Admiral and Luff's grandpa; Helmeppo and Kody, Navy cadets; and Mihawk, one of the 7 warlords. All fit the context of the Baratie episodes well. I'm glad we got some Navy members. Though I wish they would have left off the Cadet badge from the two cadets. We can't re-create some of Luffy's battles against the navy yet! Missing from the line up is <a href="https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Patty" rel="external nofollow">Patisserie Patty</a>. His inclusion would have made the line-up perfect.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%206%20(14).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Zeff uses a new beard piece and in a new color. It's called Ochre on Bricklink. Here you can see how it compares to some other Lego yellow hair colors.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%207%20(1).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Some have been unhappy with the choice of a cowboy hat for Mihawk. So I tried switch it out for the musketeer one. The feather looks really good, but the hat isn't quite right. It also doesn't allow for his sword to attach behind as the brim rests too low. What Mihawk needs is a cowboy hat with a feather hole, but that would have been a new mold. Of the two, I think the cowboy hat is a good choice. I also changed Garp's hair as the spiked hair didn't seem to represent him well. If Lego made the piece I used in light gray it would have been perfect.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1306.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1004" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%207.JPG/1280x1306.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Here's the modified Mihawk in his coffin shaped boat. Holding his sword he looks impressive, but a little too much like Barabossa for my taste.
				</p>

				<p>
					<span style="color:#f1c40f;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>OVERALL</b></span></span>
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1002.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="97.75" height="801" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%208%20(1).JPG/1280x1002.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					As far as being the largest set in this wave I think the Baratie could have done a little better with the Straw Hat crew.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1187.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="949" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/Luffy.JPG/1280x1187.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Across all 5 sets we get 5 different versions of Luffy. The Baratie version is on the right. He's only technically exclusive due to the specific match up of hat and face print. But if you've bought the other sets you already have this Luffy. I like that they gave him his classic red vest, but an option would have been to have a different outfit for the Baratie or at least a unique face print.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1181.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="944" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/Zoro.JPG/1280x1181.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Zoro gets a total of 3 versions. The Baratie version on the right again is exactly the same as the Buggy set. Another missed opportunity to include something special.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1149.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="919" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/Nami.JPG/1280x1149.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Nami gets 4 versions. The only unique version is from the Arlong Park set. Again, I love that they focused on her classic outfit. But the Baratie was a chance to include something new.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1234.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="987" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/Usopp.JPG/1280x1234.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Usopp gets 3 versions with the Baratie version the same as the Going Merry, just without the slingshot.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1192.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="953" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/Sanji.JPG/1280x1192.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					Sanji gets the short end of the stick with only 2 versions. And here, the Baratie gives us a unique outfit that's totally in character and a great addition. I would have loved a face print with hearts for eyes though.
				</p>

				<p>
					<img alt="1280x1280.JPG" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="100.00" height="1024" width="1024" src="https://bricksafe.com/files/MKJoshA/reviews/75640-the-baratie-floating-restaurant/BT%207%20(2).JPG/1280x1280.JPG" />
				</p>

				<p>
					The chase gimmick for the One Piece sets are the Wanted Posters. The Baratie comes with 5 random 2x3 tiles. I got 2 Gold Rogers, 2 Kuros, and 1 Don Krieg. Across all 5 sets I got 2 Kuros, 4 Buggys, 2 Don Kriegs, 2 Alvidas, 2 Arlongs, and 2 Gold Rogers. That means I'm still missing Luffy and Mihawk. Almost 600 euros worth of sets and I still don't have a full set. I appreciate the idea of chasing after the posters. But I think Lego needs to do a better job. Either ensure each set has 0 duplicates giving someone better odds at getting a full set or they need to include all 8 in the Baratie.

					This is a decent display piece and playset. Though it succeeds better as a playset. It tries to balance scales and doesn't quite reach the mark.

					This was thoroughly fun to build. There are many great techniques and it never felt repetitive.

					There are so many places to put figures, there are a great number of treasures scattered around the ship, and a huge selection of food and food prep pieces. That gives you a lot of ways to display the set. There is also the great fighting feature though the platform needs to be just a little bigger. If there was better space to place minifgures and a larger platform this would be a 10.

					The Baratie really shines when it comes to play. Storytelling is easy. And sword fights are fun if you use shorter swords.

					There is a great variety of pieces in this set. The color choice is okay, but the constant switching from red to brown doesn't quite do it for me. I don't know what they could have changed, but I feel like some of the colors should have been different.

					You get a great number of parts for the price. However, I feel like we needed at least one member of the Baratie's staff to help Sanji and Zeff. Even if you had to trade out Helmeppo to get him. Also, the distribution of the Wanted Posters needed to be better.

					As the flagship set of the first One Piece wave the Baratie had a lot to live up to. And it gets close. It's a great model with fantastic techniques. The figure selection, while not unique enough for this set, is decent. If you're a fan of One Piece I would say this set is worth getting. It's already been on sale on Amazon so you might get lucky and find a good deal for Christmas. However, if you're looking for the best bang-for-your-buck the Going Merry is a far better choice. Both sets have the full Straw Hat crew. And the extra figures in the Baratie are nice, but little things like the wrong hair for Garp and the "Cadet" printed on Helmeppo and Koby's uniforms lower the overall appeal.

				<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:14px;">
					And now, to wrap up our story. Luffy and his crew discovered an island and now face it's lone inhabitant...

	I made this thread to discuss licensed themes you wish/dream to come out and speculation. Not rumours.
</p>

<p>
	What licensed themes would you like to see in the future? Which ones do you think are possible? I was speculating that next year we might see Space Jam 2 sets though I'm not sure if LeBron would approve of toys with his likeness. I would also love DUNE sets even though it probably wouldn't happen.

	I've bought all the currently available pokémon sets (minicenter coming tomorrow if everything goes well). <br />
	The plan is to open all the bags at once 90s style, mix them together even between different sets, and build the sets one by one. Whenever a new lego Pokémon set releases, I have to add it to the pile and mix it with the remaining pieces. I will hopefully be starting this weekend.

	Ever since the release of the Prince of Persia theme in 2010 I wanted to make a big MOC. After building and breaking down a lot,  last year I finally created something that matches the image in my head.
</p>

<p>
	I could not think of a name or title, so I just call it a Prince of Persia MOC.
</p>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/204293831@N04/55121051634/sizes/z/" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="IMG_9647" class="ipsImage" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55121051634_a93be51f6c_b.jpg" /> </a>

<p>
	It started by building the top section.
</p>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/204293831@N04/55121187465/sizes/z/" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="IMG_9645" class="ipsImage" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55121187465_e824062ae9_b.jpg" /> </a>

<p>
	Then I build downwards until the building was finished from the inside as well.
</p>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/204293831@N04/55121051559/sizes/z/" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="IMG_9666" class="ipsImage" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55121051559_f268c54bee_b.jpg" /> </a>

<p>
	Of course it is all modular
</p>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/204293831@N04/55119919262/sizes/c/" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="IMG_9659" class="ipsImage" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55119919262_5895832879_b.jpg" /> </a>

<p>
	Finally I build some scenery around the main build
</p>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/204293831@N04/55119919232/sizes/c/" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="IMG_9686" class="ipsImage" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55119919232_82ea63242e_b.jpg" /> </a>

	This was the third model from two different attempts, the first was a cosmetic sketch build, the second was a model adjusted for size and features resulting in the third.

	I completed the Titanic build, all 9090 pieces. It took many months...
</p>

<p>
	And then...  a random drunken event, I crashed into it and smashed the back of the ship!
</p>

<p>
	This picture shows the damage to the back of the ship. It is built in sections, the red dotted line is where this final section attaches.
</p>

<p>
	However, I cannot separate this section so I can rebuild it... Can anyone help? I have a PDF of the build instructions, which doesn't not seem to include picture-based steps for this crucial step. And I dont want to be heavy handed and cause more damage! There are no obvious pieces holding the sections together. And I can't recall how it joined previously. I wonder if it snapped into place?

	This thread is for all Avatar LEGO discussion through 2022 and 2023. It began back when Avatar LEGO was only rumoured.

<p>
	Original first post:
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone else believe Lego will make sets based on the upcoming sequel to the highest grossing film of all time, Avatar? Because I think they might, I remember there were rumours back for Dimensions 3 that JC Avatar was considered and going to be one of the licenses for the game. The franchise is PG13, Disney is now owning it and the Ideas set was popular but didn't get approved, I think the reason why it didn't get approved is because they are working on sets for the sequel. I know a lot of people say nobody cares about JC Avatar but I think they underestimate Cameron, this film will be big and Lego should hit it while it will be hot. The theme could give us a lot of interesting pieces and sets. A true alien world full of potential.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	UPDATE. GreekBricks and HothRebel confirmed the theme is happening. We will get a number of sets and a Brickheadz two pack.

	As the title suggests, it's a Lego model of Tails' Tornado plane from the Sonic Adventure video game. Sadly, it's a little longer than it's supposed to be, but, more importantly, it only fits Tails' minifigure without his signature tails. Nevertheless, I like how it turned out.

	Hello!
</p>

<p>
	I really enjoyed this wave of Marvel mini modulars, a great idea imo. I have 76311 and 76317, so I decided to expanded the city with a pizzeria. I also build a rooftop, which can be put above the pizzaria or the bodega.
</p>

<p>
	<img alt="1000x800.jpeg?1767621484.9803421" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="75.98" height="759" width="999" src="https://cdn.rebrickable.com/media/thumbs/mocs/moc-246386/796346.jpeg/1000x800.jpeg?1767621484.9803421" />
</p>

<p>
	<img alt="1000x781p.jpeg?1767216993.6931286" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="78.10" height="781" width="1000" src="https://cdn.rebrickable.com/media/thumbs/mocs/moc-245645/791557.jpeg/1000x781p.jpeg?1767216993.6931286" />
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	It follows the mini modular design language, and several combinations can be achieved:

<p>
	Free instructions for the pizzeria and for the rooftop can be found in Rebrickable. I hope you enjoy!

	With both reboot Hogwarts Express sets only including Platform 9 3/4, I started working on a few version of Hogsmeade Station as companions to 75955!
</p>

<p>
	First is the Sorcerer's Stone Hogsmeade Station as played by Goathland Station:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onykua" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52752496989_70a634a050_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52752496989_70a634a050_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onykua" rel="external nofollow">Hogsmeade Station 01</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	Also decided to add the gates with a pile of luggage:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onykv7" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52752497044_091e866d9b_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52752497044_091e866d9b_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onykv7" rel="external nofollow">Hogsmeade Station 03</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	The ticket counter and tea room on the inside could be a perfect home for the unnamed minifigs from 40500:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onumwB" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52751720047_0f8a77fbce_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52751720047_0f8a77fbce_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onumwB" rel="external nofollow">Hogsmeade Station 02</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	Here's the shot from SS that I mainly worked from:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2oocFcg" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52759782433_590523d3b2_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52759782433_590523d3b2_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2oocFcg" rel="external nofollow">Goathland 2</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	Next is the Order of the Phoenix/Halfblood Prince version that was built in Black Park:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onx89n" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52752260361_a7f484edba_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52752260361_a7f484edba_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onx89n" rel="external nofollow">Alt Hogsmeade Station 01</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	I pictured this one also tying into the Thestral/Carriage set:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onunjD" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52751722717_7e40ff5976_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52751722717_7e40ff5976_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onunjD" rel="external nofollow">Alt Hogsmeade Station 02</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	Here's the shot that I mainly worked from:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2oobta3" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52759546824_d82fc01a94_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52759546824_d82fc01a94_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2oobta3" rel="external nofollow">BPCP</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	And lastly, I winterized the OoTP/HBP version to look like Hogsmeade Station at the entrance to Universal's Wizarding World. This one could work next to the Hogsmeade and Shrieking Shack sets!
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onymhC" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52752499684_718a212660_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52752499684_718a212660_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2onymhC" rel="external nofollow">Alt Hogsmeade Station 03</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	Here's the shot that I mainly worked from:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://flic.kr/p/2ooacdn" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52759298081_09712bdc9b_c.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="52759298081_09712bdc9b_c.jpg" /></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/2ooacdn" rel="external nofollow">HM-Universal</a> by <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/195481923@N08/" rel="external nofollow">Gitto Negron Workshop</a>, on Flickr
</p>

<p>
	All 3 of these are fully buildable, but I live in an apartment in NYC, so my LEGO Room is Stud.io! Let me know what you think!

	Hello all, something I'm doing is rebuilding old sets I have. Right now I'm focusing on the 2004 Harry Potter sets. I just got the classroom, train and Hogwarts at Brickfair last weekend. The shrieking shack i rebuilt in 2019 but I am missing a few, and very expensive, parts and Lupin (i have the wolf headpiece though). I have Sirius Black's escape I've been rebuilding as well (no box just instructions). I also got the store display backing at BFVA in 2015 but I have no idea how it looked at stores, any info is appreciated so I can make a correct looking display
