This time we want to be early with our announcement, so here it goes. We are planning the 2026 Eurobricks event!!

I will add more information to this topic, but let me start by stating the most obvious....when is it taking place?

Wednesday the 27th of May 2026 - Sunday 31st of May 2026.

Wednesday and Sunday will be travel days, so we will try to plan the activities on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I have already created a sign-up topic.

For those of you who are new; what do we usually do at an Eurobricks event? Well, depending on the location, this is more or less what you can expect...

• A visit to LEGOLAND (this time with the Fabrik!)
• A visit to München (optionally)
• A visit to the Bob Brickman Museum
• Lots of fun activities like building contests (with prizes!)
• Lots of fun and laughter
• Annual rat spitting competition
• And then some...

Accommodation

We are still looking into different options for accommodations. This also depends on how many people are coming. We are thinking about renting a private accommodation for around 30 people or so. More info will folllow...

we are excited to announce our LEGO© Fan Event “Bricking Bavaria 2026”. (#BrickingBavaria2026) 

It is with a heavy heart that we look to the Stadthalle Fürth, which would normally be hosting the exhibition again this year. Unfortunately, the Stadthalle Fürth is facing major renovations, which means that it will be closed for several years. As the preparatory work has already begun, it is unfortunately no longer possible to hold our exhibition there in the usual way this year.

With a cheerful eye, we can announce our new home for 2026: With almost 7000m2 of exhibition space and a conference center as a backstage area for exhibitors, we have found a new partner in Messe Augsburg! Here we can continue the fan event with the concept from Fürth.

For the eighth time, we’d love to invite you to be part of the

in Schkeuditz.

Once again this year, we want to bring a huge layout to life together with LEGO train fans from Germany and beyond! The venue is, once more, the old tram depot in Schkeuditz – around 700 sqm packed with landscapes, trains, and creative ideas.

We, the railway crew from Leipziger LBRICK e.V., will take care of the track plan and provide the basic layout – you bring the highlights:
stations, scenic routes, bridges, tunnels, factories, vehicles, urban scenes, functional builds, or just really beautiful standalone layouts.

We’re looking for LEGO train builders who enjoy sharing ideas, running trains, and building together.

Participants and models will be selected based on the submitted applications. Our goal is a visually and technically cohesive overall layout made up of the best and most fitting models. Space is limited.

We’re looking for LEGO train builders…

… who enjoy networking and are excited about lots of exchange with others.
… who want to contribute a landscape section to the shared layout. This could be a station, a stretch of open track (rails through scenery), a factory, a bridge, a tunnel, etc. The important part is that it’s built in a way that allows other participants’ layouts or plain track to connect to it.
… who are happy to let their trains run freely.
… who have built nice, preferably realistic rolling stock and would like to display it or run it on the layout.
… who can bring buildings, accessories, or matching custom urban builds.
… who have functional models or display pieces with lights, motors, and similar features.

Standalone layouts that don’t need to be—or can’t be—connected to the main layout are, of course, very welcome as well.

Requirements for your application

To apply, please make sure you meet the following points:

• Your models must be built from LEGO® bricks only. Other brick brands are not allowed.

• For track, motors, lighing, and other drive / control systems, we’re open to third-party products (e.g. TrixBrix, FX Tracks, sBrick, BuWizz, etc.).

• 3D-printed parts are fine as long as they fill a niche (track pieces, coupling rods, wheels, etc.).

• To showcase the full range of LEGO building possibilities, please do not submit models or rolling stock built from official sets – custom builds (MOCs) only.

• A great shared layout needs stations, industrial areas, and lot of open track – you can never have too much of the latter.

• MOCs without track, city buildings, and infrastructure also add a lot to the layout and are very welcome.

• Please submit your model with a detailed description, good photos, and, if applicable, a BBM file (BlueBrick planning software: https://bluebrick.lswproject.com).

• The minimum age for participants is 14 years Children under 14 may attend as accompanying minors of a legal guardian who is a registered participant.

• The participant fee is €30 per participant; accompanying minors pay €15.

To apply, please register yourself and your model using our registration form. From all submissions, we will select the models that best fit the shared layout.

You can register individually or as a group. Just make sure your application clearly states how many people you are and how many of you plan to attend the exhibitor evening.

Please upload a few photos of your models with your application.
If your model is meant to be part of the shared layout, we also need a BlueBrick file for planning. The software is free to download:  BlueBrick.

If you run into problems using BlueBrick, clear and detailed photos are also acceptable.
Please attach them to your application.

Additional info

On site, we have limited space for a small number of tents, campers, and cars.
There is mo guarantee for overnight parking or camping spots.

For organizational reasons, overnight stays on site are only possible if you arrive by Wednesday, July 29th, 2026 at the latest. 
If you arrive later than that, we unfortunately won’t be able to allow additional vehicles onto the site.

Helpers for setup and teardown

We’re grateful for every helping hand! Anyone who can support us with setup in the days leading up to BSBT 2026, or help with teardown on Monday after the event, is very welcome and greatly appreciated.

Guest drivers are unfortunately not possible

As in previous years, the shared layout will be made up of many individual, personal scenery sections, built by different people—often with a lot of time and detail put into them.

To operate the layout, there are a few rules that all participants must follow, and these will be communicated in advance.
Because of this, we’re unfortunately not able to allow spontaneous guest driving on the layout (i.e. visitors bringing their own loco and running it on the layout).

That said, participants who bring only rolling stock, but are present for the full event, are of course very welcome.

On more than 4000 square meters we have a lot of space for many great models. With over 400 AFOLs and TFOLs expected, this will be one of the biggest LEGO® fan exhibitions of the year in Germany!

The "Faszination Modellbau" trade fair attracts tens of thousands of visitors to Messe Friedrichshafen every year. The international fair for model railroads and model making shows the complete range of model making. Not only trains, but also aircraft, ships, trucks and cars are presented here and their owners show what is possible with their models. This underlines the enormous experience character of the fair.

Do you have any other ideas and suggestions? Do you want to give a lecture / workshop or present your MOC? We make the event for and with you! Good ideas will be implemented with pleasure.

For the 7th time, LEGO railway fans from Germany and other countries are meeting to build a large community facility together. In addition, we also want to give individual systems or models their place.

As in previous years, we have access to the “Old Tram Depot Schkeuditz” (Rathausplatz 9, 04435 Schkeuditz) with a total area of around 700 square meters.We, the Leipzig LBRICK railway workers, work out a track plan that is as varied as possible in advance and provide the basic construction for you.

The following points are required for your application:

• Your models are made from bricks from LEGO®. Other manufacturers are not permitted.

• When it comes to track material, motors, lights and other drive concepts, we are open to products from accessory manufacturers (trixbrix, fx tracks, sBrick, buwizz, etc.)

• 3D printing is possible as long as it serves a niche. (rail pieces, connecting rods, wheels, ...)

• In order to represent a wide range of building options with LEGO, we ask that you do not register any modules or rolling stock from purchased sets, but only your own builds!

• A good community facility needs train stations, industrial facilities and open routes. You can never have enough of the latter.

• MOCs without tracks, urban development and infrastructure enliven the facility and are welcome to register.

To shorten the time a little, we are now starting the 2025 building event. What's it all about?

Build a nice soapbox racer for your sigfig.

The vehicle must contain the following parts:

and  for the basis of your vehicle as well as your sigfig/avatar.

You may replace the "chassis" with your own parts, but the wheels only come in 4 sets and all of them include the chassis part as well.
If you don't have them already, these 2 sets are an easy and cheap way to get hold of them: 60458 and 60459.

If you were a pirate, here is what it could look like: 

Bring it to the event, where your vehicle will compete against the others. Maybe it's wise to make it nice, sturdy and fast!

My LUG just got Recognized this year and we have a lot of opportunities available to us. One area we are a little bit unsure about is Special Projects. What are some Special Projects that your LUGs have completed? I know the threshold was upped this year, but we have a few designs in the tubes that still comply, so I'd like to know what other LUGs experience with this program is.

This will be my first convention in the UK, having only gone to Brickworld Chicago. Yes, I live in Wales, but my most attended con is in the USA...

Lego World was in Utrecht in the Netherlands from 24 till 30 of October.

Many builds were shown in the Fan Zone.

- LEGO® Technic™ hands-on holiday event from 30 July to 18 August 2024
- LEGO® Technic™ special event for adults and young people aged 16 and over on 6 August 2024
- Tom Targa and Tina Turbo visit on 3-4 and 10-11 August 2024

Club members of Schwabenstein 2x4 e.V. have equipped several showcases with structures for the event area. The structures were built especially for this event in the first half of 2024 and contain around 50,000 parts. A complete landscape in minifigure scale takes visitors on a journey from winter to summer to the Dakar desert rally. There are many details to discover.

A replica of the Porsche Museum on a scale of 1:180, a Porsche warehouse and JB's "Porsche" garage offer even more to marvel at and discover. Porsche models on various scales with specially produced prints complete the exhibition and invite visitors to compare them with the real Porsche cars in the exhibition.

For the older LEGO fans, there will also be a special event on 6 August, where Porsche GT4 e developer Björn Förster will meet LEGO designers Ann Karring and Aurelien Rouffiange and racing driver Jörg Bergmeister.

Our annual event as part of the Stuttgart Games Fair will take place from 21.11.2024 to 24.11.2024.

We will be in Hall 1 on the entire gallery with an area of around 6000 square metres. With 115,000 visitors (2023) you will present your buildings to a large audience. You can also take part in the MOC Award 2024, in which visitors and exhibitors at Schwabenstein vote for the most popular MOCs. This is also associated with corresponding prizes and a trophy. Detailed information can be found on the homepage of https://schwabenstein.org in the event preview (just click on the event block).

You can register as an exhibitor or helper directly via https://schwabenstein.org/registrierung. You will receive an account and can then register for our events. For this purpose, we have developed an event management system suitable for LEGO exhibitions, which allows us all to plan stress-free and provides you with constant information.

The railway layout along one side of the hall offers plenty of space - even for long trains. Depending on the number of registrations, we will define specific themed areas (SciFi, castles, book authors, ...).

The exhibition areas are set up at the beginning of the set-up and covered with molleton. You can drive your vehicle into the hall up to your area and unload there. Depending on the size of the themed areas, we will set up illuminated large banners (2.5 metres wide) to create a focus for the visitors.

Our special effect wagon also offers you effect lighting and fog for photo and film shoots. After our successful test run in 2023 with the fog machine, we have expanded the theme. And if you need a 5V/3V power supply, the club can provide powerful power supply units that can also supply several MOCs at the same time.

We will celebrate on two AFOL evenings (Thursday and Saturday) and the MOC Award will be presented on Saturday. Exhibitors will again receive a special event gift (usually a limited edition minifigure and other surprises)

Dear friends of the LEGO® brick,

the Bricking Bavaria e.V. invites you to the twentieth LEGO exhibition with fan event under the name "Bricking Bavaria"! This time we will be the sole organizer of our event "Bricking Bavaria 2024" in Fürth/Nuremberg fromOctober 31 to November 3, 2024. (Setup is on 31.10.). 

The Stadthalle Fürth offers us with over 3000 square meters a lot of space for many great models. With around 300 AFOLs and TFOLs expected, this will be one of the biggest LEGO® fan exhibitions of the year in Germany! (#BrickingBavaria2024)

This year is a special year. We are celebrating an anniversary under the motto "20"!

Bricking Bavaria exhibitions have been taking place for 20 years now and at the same time Fürth will be the 20th exhibition with the name "Bricking Bavaria".

Last year we could finally restart our beloved Eurobricks-Event again and of course we are planning another Eurobricks event for this year! 

As we try to alternate locations it will be held in Günzburg, Germany.
From Thursday, 02th of May until Sunday, 05th of May.

Those who have already attended to one of our events know what I'm writing about - those who don't have an idea what this is all about, might want to check out the last events in the forum first.  

So if you are willing to be part of this fun and entertaining event, please reply here. As soon as we know how many people will participate we can discuss the accommodation options.

Information about the program will follow soon - we still have room for YOUR thoughts and ideas! Set are the obvious attractions like Legoland (the FABRIK!!!) and Munich. And I have a feeling that some competitions will be held as well... 

Since Holodoc can not participate this year I took over some of the organisation but will also relate on you all to make this years event happening.

with it beeing one Month until we will see each other again in Günzburg it is time for an event building challenge!
This year it will be: Build your own "Little Corner Space".

So get creative and show us what you can come up with. It can represent a space fitting for you or be a space for your sig-fig (just tell a good story about why this is the build you choose).That way we also learn even more about each other. 

The rules should be easy (if you have questions just ask) and as following:

Use LEGO to build a vignette on a 8x8 plate.
Keep it in the following dimensions: 8x8 plate with two walls being 6 bricks high. Top it off with a row of tiles with some studs exposed.
That way we can stack them together at the event and build a nice struckture.
Therefore it should not have an overhang that would block this option.
The space inside the walls should be filled with your imagination and your sig-fig or person inhabiting the space.
And most importantly - Have fun!

There is a Hotel called Eurohotel (they have the option to get a conference room for our activities - I would need to ask how much it costs tho.)

We could also get a holiday house for up to 6 people. Then we have a base camp where we can stay in the evenig. Prices are also cheaper then the Hotel.

Of course you can also stay on your own and many opportunities are open for that (hotels, camping site, etc.), but then you have to see yourself.

Eurohotel from 02.05.-05.05. (so 3 nights):
Single room -> 402,50 € 
Double room -> 468 € (234 € per person)
3 people room -> 580 € (194 € per person)
4 people room -> 640 € (160 € per person)

Plus eventual extra costs for a conference room (no price yet)
Breakfast at Hotel is 12,5€ per person and night


Holiday House (6 people) for 3 nights:
Option 1: 567 € in total (94,5 € per person)
2 rooms with 3 beds each (1 double and one single each).
Distance to Legoland -> 15 min. 

Option 2: 913 € in total (152 € per person)
4 rooms with 1 doublebed each. + 1 couch for 2 people.
Distance to Legoland -> 15 min.

Prices for the houses are a bit cheaper if we are less then 6 people staying there.

If we stay 5-6 people that need accomodation still I can offer to be responsible for booking the accomodation. If someone else feels for it please leave a note if you would like to take over the job.

Please everyone comming tell me your favorite option until the end of the week and we can proceed with the booking.

My prefered option would be Holiday House Option 2. It offers a lot of space and is still cheaper than the hotel (with 4 people in one room). An even has a big garden and sofa lounge area.

For the 6th time, LEGO railway fans from Europe and other countries will meet to create a large community layout together. In addition, we also want to give individual systems or models their place.

As in previous years, we have the "Old Tram Depot Schkeuditz" (Rathausplatz 5, 04435 Schkeuditz) with a total area of around 700 square meters at our disposal.
We, the Leipzig LBRICK railway fans, will work out a track plan that is as varied as possible in advance and provide the basic construction for you.

We are therefore looking for LEGO – Railway fans...

... who are interested in networking and are looking forward to a lively exchange with each other.
... that contribute a landscape to the community area. This can be a railway station, a piece of open track (rail through landscape), a factory, a bridge or tunnel, etc. It is important that it is built in such a way that other participant landscapes or free tracks can be connected to it.
... who want to let their locomotives run free.
... who have built beautiful, realistic vehicles and would like to exhibit them or have them driven.
... who can bring buildings, accessories or suitable urban self-constructions.
... with functional models or exhibits with lights, motors, etc.

Interesting individual layouts are also welcome.

The following  points are required for your application:

-  Your models are made of LEGO bricks (We are a RLUG, so only LEGO bricks are allowed. We ask you to refrain from registering modules with terminal blocks from third-party manufacturers.)
- For track material, motors, lights and other drive concepts, we are open to products from accessory manufacturers (trixbrix, fx tracks, sBrick, buwizz, etc.)
- 3D printing is possible, as long as it serves a niche. (rail pieces, connecting rods, wheels, ...)-
In order to represent a wide range of building possibilities with LEGO, we ask you not to register any modules or rolling stock from purchased sets, but only self-builds!
- A good community layout needs stations, industrial facilities and open tracks. You can never have enough of the latter.
- MOCs without tracks, urban development and infrastructure enliven the layout.
- Application with detailed description, meaningful photos and, if applicable, BBM file (Bluebrick – Planning Program: https://bluebrick.lswproject.com )
- The participation fee is 30 euros.
- The minimum age for participants is 14 years.

There are not too many accommodations in the area. Find out more and book in time!
Overnight stays in tents and campers are not welcome by the city of Schkeuditz.

There are no hall opening hours for participants: We are allowed into the hall around the clock.
Also this year there will be the possibility to drive in the evening with the lights dimmed or in the dark. / Saturday is night driving action with public traffic.

Guest driver:

As in previous years, the community layout will be made up of many small personal parts of the landscape, some of which many people have built in great detail in their spare time.
There are some rules for the use of the layout, which all participants must adhere to and which are communicated in advance.
Therefore, we cannot organize that guest drivers can drive spontaneously on the layout. (i.e. as visitors who bring their own locomotive and jet over the layout.)

Participants who only bring rolling stock, but are there the entire time, are of course welcome.

We are really looking forward to the exhibition.

Therefore we will probably close the registration on 19.08.2023 at 23.59 as announced.

Please register your MOCs until this date. Most important are the dimensions of the MOCs, a meaningful name and a short description.

Keep in mind that a correct size of the MOCs is important for the planning of the areas and tables.

As usual, we will do the planning as soon as possible after the registration closes, successively confirming your MOCs.

Together with our partner, LEGO GmbH, we will be guests at Faszination Modellbau in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance from November 3rd to 5^th November 2023. We cordially invite you to join us at our nineteenth LEGO exhibition with fan event called "Bricking Bavaria"!

The "Faszination Modellbau" trade fair attracts tens of thousands of visitors to Messe Friedrichshafen every year. The international fair for model railroads and model making shows the complete range of model making. Not only trains, but also aircraft, ships, trucks and cars are presented here and their owners show what is possible with their models. This underlines the enormous experience character of the fair.

Do you have any other ideas and suggestions? Do you want to give a lecture / workshop or present your MOC? We make the event for and with you! Good ideas will be implemented with pleasure.
