All those who plan to come at the Event, july 29th to july 31th. Please send me an private message soon as you can, before easter would be best.

In the Private message, please tell me who many you are comming and a private email adress, so that I can be in contact with you.

Then you will recieve an email from me, there will be an despositum of 15 Euro per person*, that must be paid to an EuroBricks acount before March 30th... You will recive the account number in your email, so you can transfer via your bank....

You can NOT get your despositum back, but it will be subtracted in the final amount.**

Hope to hear from you real soon.

Well Legoland Village have suddenly desided that they want thir despositum before April 1st... And i have talked to them, but things are as they are now.. Sorry..

Dear adm council, let me tell you I will come to that great event *satis* .

I heard a voice in my head saying "do what must be done, do not hesitate, show no mercy" ;)  Therefore, Billund here I come ;)

i'm sorry to say that i can't... i'll be without a car in summer, won't be able to drive outside belgium, and an airplane ticket costs me in all about 250 euro and i'd prefer spending that on real lego than on transport. :(

you can buy Lego sets whenever money is available, but this trip is a fantastic opportunity for meeting each other, share our passion, and have loads of fun (without mentionning that this event could become a once a year bash ;) )

The only reason that I wouldn't be able to go at this point is that they
suddenly decided to jack up the price of the airline tickets.  And even then
I would still try to go.... it would mean either that I would not be able to
go to Legoland Guntzburg and/or going to Brickfest 2005.

The other factor is being able to stay at my relative's house near
Dusseldorf.  BTW, can someone give me the cost of travelling by Train from
Dusseldorf to Billund.  

The Eurail rate is too steep for me, and it is too confusing for me (online)
to figure out the cost of individual tickets.

Maybe we should organise some (car) driving groups since there are several people from France, Germany and the BeNeLux countrys, and all of them have very similar routes to denmark.

There is already such a group planned, it's Jipay, Clecle and me (and Singeounit?!? I'm not sure about him :$ Yeah, my head....  *wacko* ). But if more people are interested (including medib since Düsseldorf is only one hour away from me) we could set up a second or maybe even a third car for the people, because train tickets are so much expensive, as far as I know it would be even cheaper to drive alone with a car than buying a ticket (Have I mentioned that I hate the German trains?  >:( )

So any thoughts about that?

i'll take a plane... i did try and find something by train, but that's a LOT more expensive and it would take many hours more... the same thing with driving to Düsseldorf , getting a car/train all the way to Billund. in the end, i'm better off by plane, same goes for xwingyoda, i think. it only costs 41 euro from Paris to Billund+ taxes... now i'm paying 173 euro... xwingyoda will probably spend even less...

Yep, 41€ + tax one way, so in total its around 150, 160€ (double that and you're in NYC).

EDIT: My car would cost me a lot more in gas *wacko*  I would need more than 250€ just in gas *wacko*

i've already booked, 'cause of increasing fuel costs,
but it's also the drag of having to sit in a car for many hours... the flight is i guess 2 hours or so...
Medib, i think you're better off going from Canada to Billund directly, instead of going the germany first.

according to double T, it will all begin at around 1, but it wil be nice to have some one in billund airport to meet. from there we can take the bus to the village or at worst a taxi. it's all very quiet at the airport, that i still remember

Well the good news is that Legoland/Village is only 1½ km away from the airport :)

yeah... in fact, i really enjoyed the area around legoland... far away from cities and traffic... or perhaps it was just the excitement... :P

tell me, double t, the building on the other side of legoland (at the bus stop), would that be a part of the TLC or is it an entirely different company?

Thats the Legoland Hotel and behind it is the Lego company's office spaces :)

Jon, what are saying? are going to take the car to Calais and then all the way up to Denmark?
wouldn't it be better to take the train op to Edinbourgh and then a plane to Billund or so? or from london?
