Inspired by how great the KKII Scorpion shields and colours look on Hass Kabal's impressive pirate ship "Scorpion's Soul Pirate" (http://www.eurobrick...opic=61406&st=0), me and my girlfriend set out to do our own, smaller scorpion ship. Our goal was to make it look like a real LEGO set and it is therefore heavily inspired by existing sets. Since neither one of us had ever built a pirate ship moc before, we also felt it was a good idea to start with official techniques.

I'd like to apologise for the poor pictures, but I don't really know how to do better. Anyway, here she is, The Scorpion's Wrath:

The dark red and gold nuances aren't captured too well on the photos; they look better in real life, I think. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Those colors always look good together.  Very nice for a first MOC.
