Isabella stabs the Guaridan in the shoulder, prompting a shriek. Elgar's arrow lands in the same shoulder, deepening the wound. Galen throws a dagger at the armored beast, causing a flurry of gold to spurt out of the ensuing wound. Galen eagerly scoops it up. Sylph patches up Johon, who proceeds to land a Critical Hit. The Guardian grab's Johon's sword and tries to push him away, but Johon outpowers him and lands the blow. While the Guardian is cussing and panting over his previous beatdown, Lycan runs to retrieve his dagger.

The Guardian somehow grabs Elgar's arrow mid-air and lobs it back at him, the arrow piercing his shoulder. Sylph has difficulty tapping into his connection with nature, but manages to get off a decent heal. Lycan's dagger slices through the air and lands in the Guardian's tail.

The guaridan lost his steam. Tired and battered, he takes a severe beating - until he picks up galen by the throat. He hods his razor sharp tail to his neck and threatens to slit it, but Elgar quickly releases an arrow that goes right through his grid and pierces the area between his eyes. Cussing and cursing he drops Galen. Sylph and Lycan double team the crippled soldier, leaving him at the edge of death. Johon jumps up and swings at the Guardian with his blade. the guardian grabs it and tries to wrench it out of his hands, but he is too tired to put up a fight. He falters and Johon finishes him with an audible sword strike to the head.

The party greedily shifts through the loot, while the Guardian gets up, bloody and bruised... And grabs Sylph by the neck, dangling him in the air!


"Move and your petty little leader is going to missing a neck."

The party waches in horror as the Guardian laughs triumphantly. The door to the Town Hall swings a ajar, though the arrogant Guardian is too loud to hear it. A shadowy, humanoid figure steps out and brandishes his huge Halberd. he sneaks behind the maniacal progg and swings. The Guardian drops Sylph to the turf and whirls around, wrapping his tail around the axe. The figure remains calm and expertly twists the axe with two hands. A CRACK is heard as the Guardian's tail breaks and falls limp. The figure raises his axe and swings downwards, an earth shattering blow on the Guardian's cranium. The Guardian speaks in between fits of coughing and gurgling blood.


"Heh... heheh... HEH. HEH. HEH. 3 down, heroes! 1,447 more Proggs to go...!"

The Guardian finally succumbs to his wounds and falls dead, and the figure introduces himself.


"Hal Borhd here, head of the Luoshian Town Guard. Shall I take you six to see the Mayor?"

He turned back to face the soldier. "Now that we've settled that, let's go see this Mayor."

"We've been trying to gather intel on the Progg forces. From what we understand, this entire mess is spearheaded by 3 major figures: Rhodus, Aquos, and Eidolon. The three beasts are apparently brothers and princes of some kind. As we have learned from Punii, our resident banker Ayla Commerz hired some heroes from your hall to deal with a minor Progg infestation in her vault. What we also know is that they were a devolved splinter clan and far weaker then our current threat.

Now, the juicy part: where those 3 royals are. We don't know their exact locations, but we do have some general areas. Rhodus seems to be harobring a grudge against Ayla, so he is probably near or in the Commerz Bank. Aquos apparently sports gills or fins or something, so maybe near the water...? We have no clue where Eidolon is."

Punii, who had been cowering in fear during the Guardian battle and had been relatively quiet, moans about the news about Rhodus.


"He better not have *wheeze* harmed her...!"

"What supplies do we have? I assume we have a limited amount of food, do you have any weapons we could use?"

Johon picks up the knife on the table (assuming it is a knife) and starts jumbling it around in his hand.

"Sadly Jerome did not make it.  He was killed by none less than the entire Gladius unit.  He was a brave man.  I say we go to the commerz bank, it is our only lead."
