~~~~~~~~~~
It is the middle of the night, and Poppy and Randy are attending to some business. Namely chucking the corpse of Jean out of the back door of the Police Station.
Posted Image
"We should probably do a sweep of the Station while we're up" says Poppy "There'll probably be more."
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Meanwhile, Gary is wide awake and spending some quality time with 'Little Gary'.

Posted Image

"Beepety beep boop" says Little Gary

"You're just the bestest friend ever!" replies Gary

Posted Image

"Beeeeepety beeeeeeeeeeeep!" shrieks the little robot, but it is too late....

Posted Image

...Gary is decapitated swiftly, and unbelievably, with a lightsaber

"Booop" wails the little robot, as it too suspends its disbelief

"Bahahahaha!" chuckles the black figure as it runs off into the night.

~~~~~~~~~~
Andrea is taking the opportunity to catch up on some filing, drinking some herbal tea to soothe her nerves.
Posted Image
She hears the slightest sound behind her, and in her heightened anxiety she spins round.
Posted Image
"Aaa-aaa-aaa-aaa-aaaaargh!" are her unfortunate last words as a dark figure advances with its axe
Posted Image
"Tee-hee-hee-hee-hee" laughs the dark figure as it quickly chops Andrea up into little pieces, before it too runs off into the night
~~~~~~~~~~

During their sweep, Randy and Poppy discover the mutilated body of Andrea, gather her together as best they can and take her down to the back door.

Posted Image

They also pick up Gary, and his head, and take him away as Little Gary looks on making sad beeping noises.

Posted Image

They load the bodies out the back, along with Jean, while Randy makes a call.

Posted Image

"Hi, it's me." Randy speaks into his phone "Get the boys on this pronto, I want answers by morning.  Yeah, at the back." he nods into the phone "Good, get on it."

"Hurry back inside" calls Poppy "I'm starting to get cold"

~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning everyone gathers in the main office space, sitting or standing wherever they can.
Posted Image
"You might notice that there's a bit more space this morning" starts Poppy "We found the lifeless bodies of Gary and Andrea last night. Both of them were pretty badly mutilated."
The crowd is shocked, although a few seem to be faking their surprise. Everyone looks around, shifting uncomfortably. Randy's phone rings.
Posted Image
"This is the news we've been waiting for" continues Poppy "I'm sure you're as interested to know as we are"
The room is silent, as if everyone is holding their breath
Posted Image
"Yeah, I heard you. Thanks." Randy finishes his call
"Well" he says, sighing "That was my team at the KIA. They've thoroughly examined the bodies and they can confirm that.."
people grumble at the addition of unnecessary suspense
".. Jean was in fact an innocent member of the Town..."
there is much gasping from the crowd
".. Gary was also an innocent member of the Town..."
further gasping
".. and Andrea... was also an innocent member of the Town."
there is stunned silence
"Huh, well that could have gone better" says Poppy to the crowd "I suggest you get talking about who you wish to have interrogated next. It seems you have quite a bit to talk about.."
she stares sternly at the assembled inhabitants
The Rules
  • Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Town or the Mafia. To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Mafia, while the Mafia needs to outnumber the Town. Third-Party (neutral) characters, if any, have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles.
  • Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player.
  • A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will usually last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage.
  • The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day.
  • You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to or from you in PM with the game host. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. Also, you may not quote PMs from other players. Paraphrasing is allowed but no direct quoting. Please refrain from quoting PMs in the game threads and in private.
  • Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread; you must always play the role given to you. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game.
  • If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on.
  • You may not edit your posts.
  • You must post in every day thread.
  • If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the hosts via PM.
  • Violation of the above rules will result in a vote penalty of half the required majority against you on your first offence, and the death of your character on your second offence. Violation of rule 7 will have a heavier penalty, made at the discretion of the Games Moderator.
  • Everyone in the station has caught a mild cold, so you must make a cold-related noise (a sniff, a sneeze, a cough, ...) in every post.
  • Violation of rule 12 will result in a one vote penalty for every offence, but only after voting starts.
Role PMs
All players have been sent a Role PM in the following format:
Lesson Five: The Rules of the Game
There is a standard set of rules for mafia games played on Eurobricks. However, the rules can be changed or added to by the game hosts. So, you are advised to carefully read the rules of the game. The rules stipulate, for example, how a conviction is reached (majority vote or not), the penalties for breaking the rules, and the win conditions of the various factions in the game. The rules are slightly different from one game to another and they need not even be the same for every Day phase. Above all, read everything the host tells you carefully and don't skip things just because you think you've read them before. This applies to your Role PM, as well as posts made in the game threads.
Crap.  :hmpf_bad:  Three members of the town all dead by the second day... this obviously isn't good. And there's two killers. One's probably the member of the mafia because Randy and Poppy said this would happen in the night. So then the second killer could be a Vig or a Serial Killer. I'm hoping he's a Vig so the Town will at least have a good chance to fight back.
And I think I've caught a cold too. *Sneezes*
What do you mean your top two suspicions were scum? Everyone has come up town, which is unfortunate. I'm still concerned about you though Isaac.  :sceptic:
Well crap... things don't look too good, guys. The only slightly good thing is that there're less possibilities for who could be scum, I guess, which isn't all that amazing since we had to lose three townies to get there.
Well, damn. Losing two people in one night, and being wrong about Jean as well. What perplexes me here, is that it was both Andrea and Gary who were killed in one night, the same two people who didn't want to lynch Jean! I don't know what to make of this, but that seems like an extremely odd thing to be a coincidence.
You're pushing your luck here, Isaac. Either you're not paying attention and listening to loud music, or you're a goon who hasn't thought things through. After your behaviour yesterday, I'm inclined to think the latter just for this. Please convince me otherwise, before we all set our minds about you and your 'slips'. Oh my we lost 2 of our friends and colleges last night and apparently the hobo wasn't a bad guy either. I guess we made a bad decision yesterday. And I am ashamed to say that I was  part of the ones who voted for our hobo friend.
We really need to get out of this place as soon as possible. I am running out of hair product!
This place must be a breeding ground for bacteria and Achooo  scum.
What a terrible night, I said that the voting for Jean looked dodgy, and then when I suggest that Andrea and Gary may be "scum buddies" but I'm willing to give them a chance and support Andrea's vote, they both get killed!
I think I've got a target on my back.
Several people thought Isaac was scummy yesterday, and his accusation turned up being wrong. You're still up there in my suspicions, but not at the top yet.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, I don't blame you for not trusting me 100%. Sniff sniff I admit that yesterday's activities from me were a little suspect, but I did try to tell people that Jean might be a townie and that  the votes against him were weak and popped up very quickly, I tried to help Andrea by joining her in a different direction with the votes but it was too little too late. Achooo
Now the person I turned to is dead leaving me with very few options for allies. Sniff sniff
Oh, I'm honestly not all that surprised that Jean was a townie. Disappointed, but not surprised... the odds were  :sceptic: .
But- *cough* -it should make things considerably easier to figure out who really is scum. Already, it's given us more legitimate reasons to suspect Isaac. Hopefully if we lynch him he's not a townie too.
A...a...a..a..a.aaaa....Achooo .errr. Agreed.
The ones that look really sus to me are the people who didn't have much to say yesterday but yet had little trouble voting for Jean , even without adding their own line of questioning or much at all really, I think you other townies know who I'm talking about..... I don't want to point the finger yet and open myself to retaliation..... Snif snif.
I just thought of something that's pretty worrying. If we did have a Vig, why would they kill Andrea or Gary? What did they do that was worth death? They both seemed like members of the Town and were pretty active. So do you think this could mean that there's no Vig and just a murderer from the Mafia and a Serial Killer instead? Sniffle
Perhaps the Mafia/Vig killed them because they where too active? Andrea was a good townie but she was to dangerous for the Mafia, I think.
I'm glad to see you didn't catch the virus, but then again, you must have been the only one not eating your cake... Aaaaatchooo Could you please fill up a cup with your urine?
Looking back at yesterday, the last ones to vote for Jean was Phyllis, but she had a valid reason.
Some others voted for Zachary because he wasn't helping at all.
I say if we don't have any solid leads, we go for him or one of the not so active ones. Cause if you aint talking, you aint helping!
A slip would refer to pretty much any mistake you have made. And those slips are what have made you suspicious. It's not that other people don't make them, you have just made a lot.
I have been a vig before and it's easy to feel paranoid. Sure, Andrea and Gary were pretty active townies, but like Christine said, it was probably because they were so active. A vig has a hard choice to make, and sometimes they will feel like the most active player is scum trying to lead the town.
We do still have nearly a whole day to find other suspects, but if nothing comes up (and I doubt that will happen) I agree that lynching Zach or someone else who isn't active might be the way to go. :sceptic:
