Hi

Due to the problems with some bad members, the two past 07 SW topics have been closed.

Now its time to start again, if you (Sam etc.) know or have posted news about the upcomming 07 Star Wars sets, please post them here..

morten_sonne posted the last information before it was closed (Thanks you Great Dane  ;-) )

Just went to my local LEGO dealer and looked at the catalog for dealers again, asked if I could take some pictures, but no, I couldnīt. Looked carafully at hte sets again, and I to can confirm the sets 7660-7662. The Jedi starfighter with Hyperring is with a obiwan and a super cool Kit Fisto minifig with green light saber. The Naboo Fighter with voltier droid was a mix of the old naboo and the UCS naboo. It had 2 minifigs, it looked like a Qui Gun and a short Anikan (wiht the short legs). No weapon. The MTT looked nice, not a direct copy of the old one, but a redesign. On the pictures there was a lot of droids, I donīt no if they are all in the sets, or it was like 2 times the minifigs. They had new weapons, maybe like the other 2007 minifigs, I havenīt seen the new weapons live yet. The wepons looked very much like the weapons in the movie.
Finally a saw picutres of 2 new BatMan sets!!!
All the sets had a note saying preleminary design, and a realese date june 2007.

alright! Kit fisto!!! looks like TLG is listening to the F-A-N-S!

2 new batman sets? wonder what more batman vehicles they were going to make. Can you describe the vehicles? airborne or land based?

edit: saw your other post. bat tank and batcopter? seriously... ?!?! what was tlg thinking?

what is a bat tank for? the bat mobile isn't a tank enough for you? they had to make a less mobile vehicle? the baddies are going to wait while you drive the 5mph thing? if the "tank" was actually the bat mobile from batman begins, then yeah...that thing rocks. otherwise, bleh.

batcopter - uh...i much rather have a bat hover/glider like the green goblin's. batcopter isn't that much of an improvement over batwing.

I only had a short look on the Batman sets, since I was more interested in the Star Wars sets. I am sure they will loose patinece with me if I come back, and try to take pictures of the catalog. Maybe there is another person who can try to get some pictures from the dealers catalog.

Quite easy... Find a LEGO store and start the sucking up! ;-)  After a while they cave in and let You see the catalogues, just to get rid of You. And Morten can be quite persuasive :-P  :-P

Thanks for the news, this confirms the news from the previous thread.

I assume the battle droids must have either new arms (like the skeletons in the new Castle theme) or new guns, since they wouldn't be able to hold them properly otherwise. And I'm definitely looking forward to the Kit Fisto figure!

Thank you for the news. If TLC put those skeleton arms on those battle droids...grrrrrrrr *n* . They're alright on skeletons, but on battle droids, nah, don't think it'll look good. I hope for new guns :-) .

I actually really like fleshies, more than the yellow MF's. But that is just a matter of opinion.

Hey morten, I wanted to ask a two questions. First what did the design for the destroyer droid look like? Also, could you describe the Kit Fisto a bit more, or compare the one you saw to this

Thanks a lot.

Now I have seen the sets too.
Kit-Fisto pretty much looks like in the game LSW I.
Heīs torso and legs was braun. Probably because it is just a pre-set.

The destroyer droids look isenīt easy to say anything about really.
He looks both better and worse.
They seem they can not fold anymore like the older ones.
The legs are built with those:http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=32014
but with another angle I think.

Naboo Fighter: is a mix between UCS and the regular one as mentioned above.
The minifigs is most definatley one young Ani but the other minifig looks like he is wearing
a Jedi robe but also goggles.

Booster Ring: is built in technic with plates ontop of the construction. But lots of technic
angels and stuff. The JSF is just the same as earlier.

MTT: is in my oppinon more or less like the previous one but bigger and way better.
Itīs not at all made of plates.
If you imagine the first X-wing with the redesigned X-wing, itīs more like that.

One word: YEAY  *sing*  Seriously this is GREAT news !! This means that we WILL (eventually hehe) get ALL thos great Jedi  *wub*
Also, it is safe to assume that since the MTT is also in ROTS (according to the SW database), it will contain a new fig !! I do keep my fingers crossed now  ;-)

Really ?? Another great YEAY here !! A dark blue JSF  *wub*
So is it fair to assume its a ROTS JSF or just an EP 2 JSF in dark blue ?? How is the booster ring btw ? How many engines does this baby has ?
Tks so much for this sooo anticipated news  ;-)

SW Forever !!

Could this be a Royal Naboo Pilot, like Ric Olie?
