That's very cool  :classic:  Can we get some more information about it?  I notice there are two receivers.  Besides driving, what is the second receiver for?

That are the old receivers and linkt togehter to let more power from the battery box flow.
But i think Dikkie can tell you at a better way

Yes the receivers are linked together. The point is that each receiver is limited to a maximum of current. And when using the RC-motor with pf you need just that extra bit to prevent the security in the receiver to kick in and stop the vehicle.

Oooh, okay, I wasn't familiar with that technique.  Thanks for the answer  :classic:

So, are you using one or two RC motors, and what's the gear ratio? The truck looks really good, but I think it could go much faster with RC motors.
With great power comes great electricity bill.

I used 1 RC motor and a final gear ratio of 1:3.89. I know you can get much faster but the truck is quite heavy for it's size (1.25kg) and for the ACC we had to pull a trailer to. So I wanted to have some power left to.

I see. I noticed 2 IR receivers and though there were 2 RC motors. One motor explains the speed.

Well, I don't think it would be difficult to use 2 at this scale:

I thought Dikkie has problems whit his battery??  Mabey i have it wrong in mine remember.
But the ACC competions are always fun at the Lowlug meetings

Yes but yours is 10 studs longer and 9 studs higher . Wonder how small I can get with 2RC motors and 2 rechargeable battery's. Sounds like a project to me .

look at this and you will see how small it is possible, because with two rc motors you dont need a gearbox
