Has anyone got either a pirate captain or a santa that doesn't suffer from the pinkish discolouration of the white parts?
My Santa only has a VERY small amount of pink. And I stress VERY small. I guess I got lucky. :classic:

I also got the Bat and I am very happy with my purchases. I picked them up at Toys R Us for $3.19 a piece (only $0.20 more than LEGO) But saved the money on gas. :classic:

I can tell the subtleties of Blu-ray and standard definition DVD (my wife can't). The only reason I bring that up, I could hardly tell that there was any pink-white coloring on my Santas or my Pirate captain. I think I could notice the problems with pink-white on some of the Kingdoms torsos so I know what I am looking for. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe it wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be?

Anyway, I love this series. I should have all of the figures I want/need now. Only took two trips with a toddler at Target to do it. I still need another Fairy since they are impossible to find here. But if you want a DJ or a Cheerleader, they are plentiful.

hi, it's the best review about minifigs by far...
very complete and thorough
thanks...

so excited for Santa, fairy, and deep sea diver, inquisitor is fine and others just average...

i hope LEGO can bring something really new for the 9 series... because it's become less innovative :D

Awesome review on the CMF sets Whitefang. I received a free series 7 bag from a LEGO Shop order yesterday, turned out to be grandma's visitor. Awesome! So I went out to TRU and bought 4 series 8 bags today. I received the evil robot, actor, vampire bat, and alien queen! I'm not too fond of the vampire bat, wish I got something else with accessories.

I have to stop myself from buying more, it's out of control! I have 2 more orders coming from LEGO Shop next week, maybe I'll get a couple more CMF bags!

WhiteFang,
thanks a lot for the detailed review, they are (from series 3) VERY helpful for touch'n'feel identifying.

Keep on the good work!

Hey, good news...looks like CMF Santa, complete with sack, will be part of the 2013 Advent Calendar.  Unless that's a really lousy mock-up and they stuck CMF in there because they didn't have enough Santa Pirates.  CMF Santa is such a vast improvement that it'd be inexcusable for Lego to ever use Pirate Santa again in the future.  (Although according to Bricklink, this year's winter set looks like it uses a Pirate.  Grrr.)
