There's some new set images from Galaxy Squad showing up, and I might hazard a guess as to what the Mecha minifigure might look like based on the Orange Team's robot. He looks pretty Gundam/Transformer inspired, and it appears that he's got mecha wings as well.

There are some more here:



The wings look kind of bulky for a collectible minifig but I imagine they will use this armour. The green 'mecha' shows that the wings are a separate piece, I don't think they will be included. I imagine he'll have the same kind of gun that the Galaxy Patrol guy has, but in a different colour, rather than the laser gun that all the other space minifigs have had. I also imagine that his armour will be dark bley, to contrast with the bright colours shown here.

Oh, I didn't notice that! I had a different list, there is a plumber instead of a female elf on it. The plumber-list is all over the internet, so I don't know where the female elf comes from. Beside the elf would be better.

Were there any precedent, that a new mold appeared in a new theme, and reappeared in a CM short after? It happened inversely several times (musketeer's hat, flask), but I don't remember in that way (which means nothing). But that would be good.
update: It happened with the manbat, so there is chance...

How about WW's lasso on the cowgirl?  Or the Alien Queen's head mold from AQ?  I'd say it's plenty possible.

Right, but the question is, which robot?
YOu know there's a blue one, a red one, and an orange one, all with new and different molds.
I hope it would be the orange one, anyways

I was originally going to suggest purple, but we've just had the Alien Queen in purple.

I don't quite like the new galaxy squad mechs. I would have liked a mech with a helmet over a normal minifig head much like the chima figures. The current design is too similar to KREO's. i don't know why TLC would stoop so low as to copy from an inferior competitor. they should be much better than that.

in fact, 2 of the new creators 3-in-1 2013 sets are so similar to transformer sets - aka mecha as one of the design and a vehicle as the other other. if they put a mech minifig in that set, it would be even more like the kreo sets.

2 questions:

1) Do they conceal the pictures more because it's the theme with more hype over all? If it is well we can expect a lot of more waves of minifigures!
2) Series 3 and 4 pictures come along all together, so did series 6 and 7. Do you believe that pictures of series 9 will spawn together with pictures of series 10?
