Hello fellow EB members, I've been wanting to create this car for a long time but always ran into problems. It's a fast little car in my favorite game, DiRT 3. It's called the Mini Cooper S Gymkhana. Its a heavily modified 1960's rally cooper with 4wd and 500hp. I want it to be a mid-size MOC with 4WD, all wheel independent suspension and rc. Smaller and simpler than Sheepos... But I have one problem-HOW DO I BUILD A MEDIUM SIZE FRONT SUSPENSION WITH DRIVE AND STEER? It will most likely not feature the regular wishbones that first came on the 8297. I really need help, does anyone have ideas, suggestions, or even previously built examples? Heres what it looks like if you where wondering... Posted Image

Or use a livr axle suspension in front, even thought its not the same as in cooper its still more compact.

Well, please define "mid size". I'd just use the standard wishbones, or maybe a swing axle setup like what efferman uses.

As seen here. It's a clickable thumbnail, if you need more size.

You've made it really difficult, wanting suspension, drive, and steering in a small package. I wish you the best of luck.

I got some work to do when I get home to my lego. I'm envisioning something using these instead of regular frames...

10/10 for the bad joke.

I would use these like Zblj posted above:

Athough is is not found on the real car it means that you can make it quite small in terms of width.

You mean use 5 x 7 frame, have cv joints going into diff in middle of frame and another bley cv going into wheel hub? yes I've done that before, only this time I could improve on shock placement and ride height for this car and possibly use servo, mabye even without rack like on my crawler... oh like zblj's ok, will prob do that...
