I do believe sets in the winter wave should be available Jan 1, 2013.

Edit: It's weird. There are zero responses to a question, I go to respond and somehow multiples are posted before mine (at much earlier times than mine). Either way, the question has been answered appropriately.

They'll be hitting stores soon I'm sure. A lot '13 stuff has been showing up this last week. S@H has as well.
So between now and jan/feb 2013 for the winter 2013 sets. Thanks

Yes! I just saw this myself over on hothbricks! I haven't seen a picture posted here yet, so here it is! ( sorry if this was previously posted )

[snip]

I've noticed quite a few differences between this one and the last model. I think it's very likely for Lego to release a new model, especially given the fact that ATotC is comming soon to 3D. It has been about 5 years since 7676

Now they bring back the side bubbles  , just now that i found a good way to attach them to the Clone Wars 7676 Gunship. ^^

Just read on a swedish lego-forum that someone had a sneak peak i the retail catalogue for 2013 (release June?) and found this:

- Jabba sailbarge, 5-6 minifigs, at least jabba and a blue figure. The construction seemed narrower, less round and "a lot uglier" than 6210.

-AT-TE, 4-5 minifigs

- Republic gunship, 4-5 minifigs

Anyone else heard anything about this? A new sailbarge sounds promising but I rather would had a moss eisley bar scene or an ewok village!

If this is true, my wallet is going to be hurting next year...
Good thing I'm not much interested in the January sets, except for the Umbaran MHC.

Not too surprised about the Sail Barge (if the rumors are in fact true). LEGO loves reusing new molds every chance they get (since they cost a pretty penny to make), and with the new mold for Jabba in Jabba's Palace it was just a matter of time.

I am a little surprised that it would be so SOON after Jabba's Palace though. For one thing, there would be two big sets on the shelves next year with Jabba in them, which to me seems a little weird and also might create confusion with the average buyer/parent. It seems like LEGO decided to quickly burn through all the sets they could make for that part of the Saga. The Palace, Skiff, Rancor Pit, and now (potentially) the Barge. Unless they decide to make any more ad-ons to the Palace (still crossing my fingers for a dungeon/droid torture chamber) or a battle pack filled with random Palace aliens and guards (not holding my breath on that one), LEGO will be pretty much done with anything Return of the Jedi Jabba-related for a long while. Or until five or six years from now when LEGO decides to remake all these sets all over again!

But I personally welcome the Sail Barge as I was still in my Dark Ages when the first one came out. I'm just surprised that LEGO decided to put it out so fast after all the other Jabba sets.

Of course this could all be a false rumor and I end up with egg on my face.

2013 marks the 30th anniversary of Return of the Jedi...that might explain the surge of related products (Battle pack, UCS B-Wing, A-Wing, Skiff and Sarlacc, Jabba's Palace, Sailbarge and Rancor pit...)

If it is Max =

If blue minifigure is something preliminary.... I'm sure it will be something neat regardless. Also glad to see the Barge; with no Sarlaac or skiff I hope they use their budget to make it bigger than the last model.

A new AT-TE could actually be very cool. I hope it's true.

Ooooh I forgot that 2013 was the 30th anniversary. Okay, I guess that makes more sense why LEGO would want to rush out the Sail Barge so quickly then and explain all the ROTJ sets we've been getting/will be getting.

In that case, fingers crossed for maybe another ROTJ set or two for the summer of 2013. Like...a Limited/Special Edition Ewok Village? Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?

That does make sense being 30 years. And I would image it would be bigger or more detailed than the previous version with less other things to worry about. But with so few figures, I wonder what the cost would be.

Good thing I'm not too interested in most of the sets this next year, I may actually be able to afford everything I want to pick up.

Edit: To further assess the potential Sail Barge, with the few number of figures, I wonder who they will be. If the figures are nothing new/exciting, I am not seeing the appeal of this potentially expensive set.

I find it hard to belive that lego would release 3 potentially $100+ sets in one wave, but then again, stanger things have happened. I hope that perhaps the AT-TE will be of a lower price range, but I find it more likely that it will be the sail barge as it won't include the skiff or sarlacc, and probably only Jabba, Han, Leia, R2-D2, Blue Guy (Max Rebo?), and a Weequay.

I really hope this inforamtion is not true as there's actually nothing new. The Sailbarge sounds awful. Only 5-6 minifigs, I mean thats less than what we got in the first Sailbarge. What minifigs could it come with if there are only 6 at the most then, Jabba, Max Rebo, Leia, R2-D2, Skiff Guard, and Luke, seems weak to me. I do like the idea of a the Republic Gunship and AT-TE Walker though. If these are true, I'll probally end up picking up an AT-TE. I really hope that the Sailbarge will not make it to the shelves anytime soon though, as lego needs to make and re-make a lot of OT sets at the moment.

The Gunship is not much of a surprise after seeing that CGI pic with the new Yoda and a new Sailbarge was due to come out sooner or later. I am a bit dissapointed by the prospect it may be downgraded compared to its predessessor. I'm not as excited for another AT-TE when the last one was also released with the previous Gunship. Would've preferred to had one of the two held off for next year and get a Geonosian Arena instead, or a revision of the older AOTC sets.

An Ewok Village could still come out as a store exclusive. I'm drooling at the thought of both Slave Leia and Ewok Village Leia in the same wave.

Could the blue minifig be a new Greedo maybe? Neither him or Max would make sense on the Sail Barge, not that that has ever stopped TLG before. They both do however, have ties to Jabba. Only time will tell. I'm excited though for all of those rumors. I don't have a Sail Barge or AT-TE. Since I'm a clone army getter, another RGS is never a bad thing.

I'd love to get the sail barge.
The minifigure count does seem low though. Perhaps they're trying to make it more affordable, after all they've made the sarlac pit and skiff an individual set. I certainly wouldn't mind a lower minifigure count in exchange for a cheaper barge.
I'd guess Jabba and slave Leia and Max Rebo for sure. I'd assume they'd have the token hero character (Luke), and a token bad guy for the hero to kill (Your guess is as good as mine). I could believe we'd get R2 or maybe C3po (I prefer C3po just because I have a dozen R2's that all look the same but only one of the new C3pos). Who knows, perhaps the Ree Yees minifigure taken out of Jabba's palace will appear here instead.

Again I wouldn't cry if this set was a bit more cost effective

I thought Max Rebo was on the Sailbarge during the part where its making its journey to the Saarlac.

If the Sail Barge set was only Luke, Leia, R2, Jabba, Max and a skiff guard that's still two new aliens from Jabba's entourage which would still be better than the last Sail Barge.

Yes, Rebo's band was killed along with some of Jabba's entourage at the Great Pit Of Carcoon. Greedo however, was already dead by then, but anybody's guess is as good as mine as to who the minifigs are.
