Stefan Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Hello, Here's my entry for the Real World Starfighter Contest on flickr. A russian starfighter called "Чернобог" (Chernobog) flickr | Brickshelf Best regards, Stefan Quote
lego_legis_legere Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Cool ! It reminds me the movie "Space Cowboys" ! Good M.O.C., I really like it. Quote
4WD Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I really like your ship, but those wings deserve their own separate comment. The idea of using garage door panels really works, especially with the transparent light blue. They could be anything, from solar panels to a force field, holding the wing-tip to the ship. Kudos for the creativity! Quote
Si-MOCs Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Really nicely done... Those boaster engines are really awesome. It really does remind me of 'real' rockets... And using the binoculars to attach the wings - BRILLIANT. What scale is this suppose to be (just curious). (That reminds me I have to build mine still!) Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Great little build, lots of nice details As others have said the binoculars and wings are very innovative Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 AWESOME space craft 'Stefan', those trans-blue wings are just the bomb ! Brick On Fly On Fight On ! Quote
jasbury Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Very well played indeed! I like all of the cleverly done details on it like the engine and the wings! Good luck with the contest. -Jasbury Quote
DarthNick Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Really nice. Very effective sticker usage. And of course, the garage door panels are sweet. Quote
Stefan Posted July 2, 2012 Author Posted July 2, 2012 Thanks for the nice comments! @ Si-Mocs: I didn't worry too much about the scale, but I guess in minifig-scale it would be about 80-100 studs long. Quote
