Khorne Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Anyone noticed that the AT-ST driver's photo is totaly wrong :-/ ? Quote
Marc Gagnon Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Ordered this first thing this morning... it is in stock and available for delivery I also picked up 2 X 7942 Off Road Fire trucks Lego Shop@Home Firestation set 7945 Can't wait till the come in Quote
Marc Gagnon Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Looking closely at the pictures available at Shop@home the front door to the station has left/right arrows on it and appears to be a sliding door - KOOL also there seems to be a new printed "control" tile in the upstairs office beside the computer screen ( use the zoom feature in the 360 spin for the office ) Also noticed the big truck is using more of those skid plate graphics ( Decals ? ) probably... Chief's car has a hatch back design. Quote
Hobbes Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 the front door to the station has left/right arrows on it and appears to be a sliding door - KOOL Huh, you're right, I haven't noticed. That is cool :-) also there seems to be a new printed "control" tile in the upstairs office beside the computer screen That one I noticed, but I'm not sure if it's new. I think I've seen it somewhere else... could be mistaken, though... Also noticed the big truck is using more of those skid plate graphics ( Decals ? ) probably... With the off-road truck it's decals. bdd mentioned them in his review. The station's truck uses some of them but I'm not quite sure about the plate right behind the driver's cabin (snefroe1 mentioned it already). Quote
mutley777 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 No star wars minifig packs yet :-( . I hope they are available in europe soon! Quote
xenologer Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Am I right in thinking that the telescopic arm pieces on the FireStation's Firetruck is the same piece as seen in the new Rough Terrain Crane Technic set? I dont have the budget for the full station... but if I take that part from the crane, and stick it onto last years yellow Airport Firetruck... might be a good mod. whats the 'pneumatic cylinder' thing on the arm btw? STARWARS LEGO! Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Be available in uk please aww please come on i'll be your freind :-P Quote

Sting Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 $26.99 for the Imperial AT-ST... hmmm... seems like a lot, but I guess with the piece count it works out. Love that Firestation. I need more Castle stuff though :-P It'll have to wait! Quote
bdd Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I expect a review of the Fire Station Mr. Marc Gagnon. :) Quote
Marc Gagnon Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I expect a review of the Fire Station Mr. Marc Gagnon. :) I would love to but I purchased it for my boys and its a XMAS gift... Somebody here will probably open their box before we get to it, but if this doesn't happen I gladly volunteer to try and do it justice... Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 6, 2006 Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 6, 2006 Are those mini-fig guns in the Star Wars sets new (e.g. Imperial Landing Craft)? The fire-station is really very nice (maybe the best ever). Quote
Athos Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 That flag on the fire station is interesting. I wonder if its a sticker or not... in this case, against my usual inclination, I almost hope its a sticker. A big red flag might be useful... if not, them maybe we could have a fire faction for castle? Aren't there some flame shields out there? Steve Quote

Vader Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Seems lego have now replaced the wrong photo with a back view of the walker. Quote
Holodoc Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 These new sets are really neat. As a fan of the City sets i like the fire-theme most. But could someone please post the costs of all the new sets. TLC does not want us Europeans to know what the costs are... :-( I already saw the price for the AT-ST (27$), but what will be the price for the firestation and the off-road truck? Thank you in advance, Holodoc Quote
