Hello everybody! Today I want to present you my new review. I hope, you will like it! This set I have got from my sister who live in the USA.

Translation from Russian into English made by The Penguin. Original version.

Set Number: 6858
Theme: Super Heroes
Subtheme: DC Universe
Year released: 2012
Pieces: 89
Minifigs: 2
RRP: £11.99 / US$12.99
Weight: 0.11Kg

During the shipping it got slightly damaged, but it's OK. From the front the view is better as usual. You can see the beautiful "Superheroes" logo.

On the back in yellow windows you can see the functions of the set.

Posted Image

On one of the sides there are two main heroes: Batman and Superman and one villain - Joker.

Posted Image

As the tradition goes on the top there is a 1:1 scale minifig. In this case Batman.

Posted Image

There is nothing unusual about the front pic. it is the same as on the front of the box. After the end there is a small comic story.

General view

Assembling takes like 5 minutes :classic: .

Posted Image

I almost forgot to mention about the predecessor of this set - 7779.

The main heroes: Batman and Catwoman. The purple bike was in the previous set, and the wings are unique to this set.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Origins: Batman looks very much like the classical one and catwoman like her comic version.

Posted Image

The minifigs turned out to be awesome!

Posted Image

Posted Image

Both figures have double heads and back printings.

Posted Image

Posted Image

On Batman's back you place that "thing". A camera with attacked bricks to it.

Posted Image

Also there are tiles with new prints:

Building process:

Unlike this set doesn't have a Batmobile but some decorations Traffic lights and some boxes.

Posted Image

Posted Image

The only "mechanism" is falling traffic lights.

Posted Image

Extra pieces:

Quite plenty!

Final judgement:

To my humble opinion the set is a decent one. It's main benefits are, undoubtedly the purple bike and the minifigs. Buy it if you can. You won't regret it! :classic:

Comments are welcome!

Nice review, 'BaraSH'! :sweet:
I think this is a decent set. The price is a bit on the high side, but the figures are cool. I also really like the newspaper.

Nice review! This was one of the two Superheroes sets I got, and it is worth it if you want to get Batman cheap.

But in Russia it cost about 35 dollars! However I bought it for 12.99$ and I think, it's a good price  .

Since my keypad is faulty and doesn't type some letters (but it has a Batman logo on it!   ) you might wish to corrext some typos.

Generally I think it's a decent set. And, oh the horror!, is better than the original version. At least minifigures definitely are!  :sweet:

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )  :classic:

Good review BaraSH  :classic: 35 dollars in Russia is rediculous . I'll never understand why America gets the licensed sets cheaper than everywhere else in the world  :hmpf_bad:

I like the set, specially the traffic light but I actually prefer the old version of catwoman. The new catwoman face is too small, and her glasses aren't silver as the older version.. however, the new batman face seems better than the older one.

I just got this set over the weekend and love it. I never managed to get the fist Catwoman set from a few years back so I can't compare the two of them. I love the newspapers and the traffic light I don't know why but they add so much more colour to this set. The figures are great and I was a bit disappointed about the lack of cape. To fix the cape issue i bought two of the new Batman key rings and put one on my keys  . The second I removed the pin with a soldering iron and then took the blue cape from him and slapped it on my Batman figure.

Solid review. As for myself, I got this set a couple of weeks ago and it's a very neat little set with two nice minifigs.

(Btw, did anyone else get an extra batarang as a spare in the set?)
