Awesome stuff! I especially like the heroes line-up, in particular Nex, Surge and Bulk (I like how you made him taller than everyone aside from Stormer, and I surprisingly love the green head).

Evo's lilac should be darker, however: it's not so much of a set faithfulness thing (I really don't mind little tweaks like Furno's yellow, dark blue and orange on Stringer and the aforementioned green head), it's more of a matter of colour contrast (yellow and that lavender-ish colour you chose are both light colours).

color choices on the characters are taken from the tv show and previous sets. for example, Bulk's head color, or the plate/black tweaks on Evo, Surge and Rocka helmets

You might want add a link to your old art thread in the first post for those who might missed the last additions to it.  

Anyway, your new stuff is also fantastic. Even though I'd make the heroes a bit sleeker around the hips they look pretty cool, and I like the Mega Man-ish feet the got. Toxic Reapa however tops them in my opinion. His foul, poisonous face gives him a really mean and rotten vibe, which fits great to the character.

I'm looking forward to your future drawings. ^^

Perfectly understandable to start a new thread.. I don't think it's really been that long, but I digress.

The Heroes in your style 'pop' a little more to the eye, they look brighter and shinier, but I can still identify them all as a single team. I like how massive Bulk looks, I miss that about him. Stringer keeping the orange, and Stormer with his eyepiece were pretty nice too. And Evo's got purple back.. excellent. I got a second Evo for my birthday today, rather nice with that tank-arm I think.

And then, there's Reapa.
My god.. That's bloody wicked!
Fleshy, squishy, slimy looking body, with black tough armor, and a real gun... !  
Looks brilliant, love the light-shine look- This is the villain I imagined Reapa to be. Just love it.

I can't wait to see more from you!

I'm slightly more surprised that he has toes.

(the only thing I'd ask about the underwear anyway would be why it's red instead of orange/yellow)

I agree with ZORK64 about the color of the underpants.

As for the toes, I'm not as surprised. During the 2.0 upgrade in the show, the Heroes are shown to have toe-like digits before the 'boot' piece is attached, so again, not surprised. I am surprised however at the fact that you made Evo's 'skin' purple.. It works so well once the wet-suit and armor have been added. If there was a piece of 'crotch armor' on the front I think it would look even better, for now that area with just the black and the zipper looks too plain to me. But it's an interesting concept, great job.

Those Breez, Surge, and Rocka drawings are very imaginative. Instead of the really complex sci-fi armor from the sets and some of your other drawings, this simpler armor is somewhat reminiscent of modern military body armor

Gresh and Kiina also look nice. I like how you gave their armor unique textures, and how you simplified their weapons into more practical blades rather than the ornate weapons from the sets.

The Bohrok image you linked is also brilliant. The design keeps the somewhat pudgy proportions of the Bohrok sets, but rather than looking comical it looks very fearsome and alien-like, as it should. The segmented neck plate is at the heart of this appeal.

I'm glad the hiatus is over. Don't get me wrong, I liked watching all those reruns and infomercials(no I didn't, I hate infomercials that aren't about nut-chopping machines or orange cloths), but it's nice to have something new again. :)

I like what you did with Breez and Surge. Sleeker but simpler armor, the core or heartlight or whatever you wanna call it isn't smack in the middle, and where it and the HF logo are placed is rather appealing to me. Breez's legs look pretty great(upper), and what you did with Surge's electric-sword-thing is pretty great as well. It acted as a sword on TV, looks great as one here.

Gotta say, the way Surge's face looks, I could really easily believe it if he went 'to the Dark Side'. I mean, he actually looks pretty badass!

Rocka(or at least, I'm assuming it's Rocka) looks cool too, falling down.. why his arm's off I don't know, I'll just assume Phantom or somebody ripped it off while they were battling or something.


Then we got the Bionicle guys. And girl. And Robot-shell-ball-thing-of-awesomeness  
The pair do look like real warriors, with their chain-mail, Gresh's awesome shoulder padding, and muscly goodness.. the pouches on both's waists are a nice touch. The colors look good, I'm glad the two look similar(they're all one race, right? Just different villages) and I love what you did with Gresh's hair.. apparently, they don't have barbers on Bara Magna    
A different look but keepin' it the same. Nice.

Finally, we got that Bohrok. Friggin' sweet.
That Bohrok is.. well.. Friggin' Sweet is the best I can do right now.
It's got the look of the Bohrok, the round ball-like feel of the Bohrok, It's got the correct looking shield-claws for the Bohrok (nice!), but it's sleeker and more insect-looking round the head, and it makes me really, really, REALLY happy. This is how I would have liked the Bohrok to be seen. This really makes the Bohrok feel so much less like a Lego toy and more like something you'd see in an action movie as the alien invaders or something like that. This.. well.. Really great job to you creating it.

Saw Gresh and Kiina on site-you-use-which-I'm-not-sure-I-should-discuss-here this Morning, and I do like the design. That Bohrok is also pure love - dat segmented neck expecially.

this one has Voltix, regarding his tv show counterpart, I really like the voice they gave him. I wish more villains would get that deep mean voice. I mean, look at toxic reapa, he looked awesome, and he could have sounded amazing, but now he sounds like. he's making gurgles after bushing his teeth or something.

I agree somewhat with the voices.. there are too many villains featured with the high-pitched voices and the crackly laughter.. I'd rather have an overly deep-voiced villain like House on Doctor Who than another Wicked Wobotic Witch of the West. You get what I mean?

I felt like drawing Duncan Bulk in the new style I been triying off. Heavy duty hero types have alot of armor (based them on knights), so we have the average heroes who look like something out of mass effect or any cliche Sci fi movie, and the Heavy duties who wield alot of armor



a more personal color scheme, I think the new bulk model would look alot better in silver, grey and black. That's only my opinion tho
