"Oh dear Bluehood, I did truly believe we were going to change the world for the better but it would appear that it was not to be so. I thank you for doing what you thought best sir knight and I know I can always trust that Heroica's intentions are always honorable. I'll try and salvage what I can from the wreckage, but it looks like it will have to take its place next to the old Microfigunater 7267. In the meantime, I was instructed by Sir Festivus who organized the original expo to make sure you received your payment, 1250 Gold altogether. I'll let you divvy that up however you folks wish. I'm sorry to have to leave you so soon but the wife back home doesn't know I'm out of my bed and would throw a fit that would make a Yeti run away in fright if she found out and I don't want her waking up Ameli and the children at this time of night. Thank you again for being here to support the project and for spending the time to help out the Town watch. I can't imagine what would have happened if it had been left up to those buffoons on their own."
With that the gnome departed into the night, leaving the heroes to find their way back to the hall, in the company of eachother and their thoughts of all that happened in the past few days.
QUEST 28 IS SUCCESSFUL!
QM Note: Brickdoctor, go ahead and divide the gold once you reach the hall. Scorpiox I know Haldor is eager to hear more news of Ameli but I'll let Jeb add a post script to this quest if he wishes as I feel he would be better suited for such a task concerning Szalinski. The rest of you are free to make any final statements to Szalinski as he exits but the quest is now complete. Feel free to ensure your stats are correct in the post two prior to this one and leave any feedback you want in the QM Lounge, also make a note there if you're alright with me posting all of the Side Quests that your charcters were involved with. Thank you all for playing, it's been a blast being your QM these exactly 3 past months.

Haldor forced a smile. It was all done now, and they had managed to overcome opposition and triumph again. But much was still left undone. As he turned, his eyes briefly locked with those of Jess. The Nord's insides seemed to wrench as he thought of all that had passed in the time of their quest. The dark heart of Eubric was vastly different than anyone knew, but Haldor knew that at least one force set to change had been vanquished. But the Norseman knew that his love was the final casulty of their battle, and he hoped to the gods that it could be mended.
Thanks for the exciting and brilliant quest WBD!

I now possess a depressing, and largely unexpected, absence of ideas for what it is that I could write in this space that would encourage, inspire or amuse any man, woman or child who takes the time to read this drawn-out and mindless drivel. I remain painfully aware of how this same passage could have been written in a far shorter and simplistic manner, whilst still maintaining its message and key purpose to all who take the time and effort to exercise their mind in understanding these words; however, this would barely give me half as much pleasure as the satisfaction that a large number of members on this website will soon or late find themselves working through this increasingly large collection of rubbish at least once, perhaps even twice if they begin to forget its contents. I hearby grant myself 500 bonus points for every unfortunate victim, now and in the future, that takes part in the aforementioned psychological experiment by bothering to read this huge tosh, excluding the numerous times that I myself have trawled through this... mess. Woah, I got a bit carried away there, that short message has transpired rather differently to how I was predicting it would. Actually, the bigger the better, I might as well increase its size even further by adding a long, torturous final sentence that is only as unnecessary as that whole lot of stupid, pointless waste of time was to both write, re-read, proof-read and then open for viewing by the general public. Have a nice day, folks!

"That was fun. Perhaps we'll do it again some time. I feel like for the first time since I've joined Heroica, I actually accomplished something worth my time."
Boomingham looks around once more, his eyes suddenly vacant.
"I've got a problem with acting rashly from time to time, especially when provoked. Maybe he was trying to harp on that. I feel like the little guy isn't gone for good." Boomingham chews on the inside of his cheek and sighs deeply. "Well, best thing to do is keep going. Maybe I'll offend him so much that he'll be forced to come back. I sure could use him around. I'm afraid if I can't yell at him, I'll start yelling at people I like." Boomingham chuckles half-heartedly, then his eyes begin to twinkle again and he pulls a smile onto his face.
"Drinks, when we're arrived back at the hall, Nur and Docken? I owe you both money anyway, you'll be forced to visit me. Besides, looks at this point like Haldor might need some brotherly comforting."

"Aye, I could use a drink. I've been wanting to try a drink the townspeople keep mentioning. I believe it is called, 'hot cocoa'."

Moranis Szalinski was well on his way to his destination when he realized he had forgotten his house key. "Clumsy minded fool ye are, Moranis! I believe you left your notes as well in all the confusion. Must make haste!" His little legs moved as fast as they could back towards the place where his depraved colleague fell to the Heroes of Heroica.
The little inventor turned a bend and ran into a familiar looking shirtless barbarian. He fell to the ground and recovered his spectacles as the mighty shaman peered over him. The gnome's mustache, beard, and nose wriggled as he adjusted his lenses. "Oh it's you again. Thank you for the assistance." Szalinski squinted. "Say, why do you look so familiar to me? Have I worked with you before? I see and work with so many investors, mercenaries, magicians and the like."
He frowned for a moment. "You aren't one of those boys who has dated my daughter, eh?" He slapped the left side of Haldor's thigh as he couldn't reach the man's shoulder. "Hah! S'all right if ye are me boy. I'm an enlightened man. I can handle it. Besides, Ameli's focus is all about a minstrel named Bustin Jieber these days. *sigh* Aw well, thanks again." Szalinski once again headed off, mumbling to himself. "Fine strapping lad, that one."
