Well I have been trying to be helpful, but there really isn't much to go on. There is no evidence, the only way is to get more people to post. For the more they post, the more you can tell who is scum. But there have been quite a few more people who haven't been active or helpful. The only other way I can see to be more helpful is to accuse others and see their defences. But the problem with that unfortunately just gets me higher on your suspect list.  :hmpf:
Don't sweat being higher on a list based on post counts. The key is to get people talking.

But equally hunny  bunny, don't shrug and say there's nothing to go on. There's plenty out there already, and more to come I'm sure.

I for one would like to hear more from the ice queen and the block head.
It's fun watching them dig.

Yes, I am awake. And catching up on all your chatter, and some personal letters that were slipped into my bed. Though I think some of those were just for an excuse to check out my lingere...
I dont remember my previous castle being this chatty. Though If I remember correctly, I was the one shouting long and offen that silence hids scum. Of course, back then I was a bad 'un. Not that I truly think you are Cindy, but loud doesn't always equal town.

My ownly reason for suspecting, Cindy, is that she has talked an enormous amount, and then attempts to make it clear that people who talk a lot are not scum. It's like she began her speeches knowing that, but then was worried that we may not catch on, so she started telling us that people who post a lot are obviously not scum. Still, I do not see Cindy making this mistake, although wondering whether or not she will kill me in bed is a rather interesting experience and makes the times we have sweeter knowing that I may not wake up to see the morning. Why doesn't everyone just tell us clearly whether they are good guys or bad guys and we can study Pinnochio for any growth spurts, if you know what I mean.
I'm sorry, Beauty, but i think Jafar stole the lamp again, but I will get it back before long. It certainly would be helpful in these situations. Now, I'm still looking for that magic carpet of mine.

Actually, I didn't start talking about degrees of Scum activity until someone brought up the accusation that I was Scum.  I simply responded with the most reasonable defense I could think of: the truth.

Oh, and, why do you need a magic carpet, Aladdin?  I'm here, I'm already out of my clothes, let's go on a better kind of "magic carpet ride".

Yoohoo! Off we go. You know, I'm beginning to wonder whether or not we should attempt to send the bad guys to the looking glass. Methinks it's better to go into the looking glass then to be slain by the bad guys. If we send all the obviously good guys down the looking glass, then we can live happily ever after and let the bad guys and the idiots who cast suspicion on their own heads needlessly can remain here and fight it out between themselves.

Oh, and Cindy, I'm beginning to doubt that Prince Charming is a bad guy. It seems that a pig would not kill a fellow pig...although perhaps the dead pig was trying to steal his position as "Lord of the Pigs."

Sorry, just catching up. Quite a lot of thinking going on, which I suppose is better than accusations. But, I am having a thought. Isn't bad luck when black cats cross your path. I think we'd better watch out.

That would be a good plan. I'm sure no one would want to see me on the floor with my head bleeding. Not just death worries me, but I know my hair would be messed up. Oh, and calling me a pig...you too?

Does anyone remember what happened to the other two pigs? I'm afraid my memory is not what it used to be.

Who ever said that I was a black cat. I'll have you know, I'm proud to be a tabby! I'm not quite sure what Aladdin meant in his nice long speech. Was he suggesting that ge got thrown through the mirror first?

By the way, Aladdin, don't you have some fairy godfather trapped in a bottle or something like that? Why don't you ask him about who's scum or not. I'm sure that would solve all of our problems. And get rid of you know who.
Thank you. Glad to have at least little bits of support in these hard times.

1. No, no, there's no excuse.  Anyone who's studied up on the game situation knows better than to make up a color for alignment-claiming, especially when the correct shade is available not just in the public, opening post, but also in the very post statement you're quoting.  A simple preview mental review of what you were about to say could have saved you.
2. OK, because this like of reasoning is faulty and yet I see it far too often: claiming alignment does not hurt the Good Guys, because the Scum already know who is good and who is Scum.  Revealing a confirmed Good Guy result is bad for the Town, because it removes someone the Good Guys know they can trust.  (Sometimes a reveal is a good thing, such as when the Good Guys can guarantee protection for them, but that requires a lot of careful strategizing behind the scenes.)
3. I have nothing to say on this point.
4. I continue to point it out because it was a Freudian slip that revealed your underlying mentality--that of a scum.  That's all I'll say on that, everything else has already been said.

Also, read my addition to my last post statement.
1. Yes, very well. It is hard to tell clors in the preview box, you know.
2. Unfortunately, you are somewhat correct here. Unfortunately, there is one point you have missed:
If there is a 'confirmed' townie 'brave' enough to reveal their role so early, then they are a likely target for the Doctor, and the Scum know not to target them that night, which could mean that, instead of there being a possible blocked scumkill, the kill goes on, and potentially destroys a power role when the only person saved is potentially a vanilla townie.
3. Very well.
4. How is forgetting that only one or two people agree with you in the midst of so many accusers a 'freudian slip' that shows the 'mentality of a scum'?

Of course the point is to survive. What I am trying to say is that it may be easier to survive in the looking glass than in this place where the mafia do their work. And no, I'm not afraid of death, just yet...but if my chances of survival are higher in the looking glass, then...

I didn't see it as an accusation, I saw it as an inquiry, but good to know that you think it was helpful. :sweet: No, I haven't said much, but I don't see how it has all been unhelpful, except for the "inquiry". I haven't said much else, but I don't see how trying to make sure that the doctor and rolecop target the same person isn't helpful.

Actually, I thought that there were a number of ways for you to be a bad guy and/or a good guy without you knowing. For example, a bad guy could be tricking me, or you could think that you are a good guy and really be a bad guy, or think you are a bad guy and really be a good guy. :sarcasm_hmpf:

I can sort of see both sides of this. On the one hand I suppose it could work, but on the other, we can't be sure. What if they investigate/protect a Scum that was set to be killed by the Vigilante and/or Serial Killer? :sceptic:

Huh? I don't understand...Oh! Just got it now. Ha! Good one! No, I'm not suicidal...yet, and I don't think I will be for a while, after all, I've got quite a few people to look after: Cindy, Snowy, Beauty, but sorry, no, not you, Pussy!

I can sort of see both sides of this. On the one hand I suppose it could work, but on the other, we can't be sure. What if they investigate/protect a Scum that was set to be killed by the Vigilante and/or Serial Killer? :sceptic:
That is why we must coordinate with the Vig as well.

Who ever said that I was a black cat. I'll have you know, I'm proud to be a tabby! I'm not quite sure what Aladdin meant in his nice long speech. Was he suggesting that ge got thrown through the mirror first?

Also, nice to see you awak sleeping beauty. Last night was fun, eh?!
I didn't mean that, although I seriously doubt I would horribly regret the experience, but who knows, I didn't study looking glasses in school unfortunately because I've never been to one. If I could find my lamp we could send my genie to the other side first.
By the way, I don't think Sleeping Beauty is particularly hot on you, pussy. And just look at your head, of course you're a black cat. :hmpf_bad:
The Big Bad Wolf and the witch always pretend to accuse, but give no concrete evidence, I'm beginning to suspect them.

Good point, but I'm just not getting a scum read off of Mr. Wolf. The bear, however, I'm not so sure about.

Oh, and I'm definitely a tabby. That black 'face' is actually a mask! Got to protect this beautiful face.
