Is there a free tutorial or good book on how to do that somewhere? I'd like to get started with that.

I quilt.

I know it doesn't sound like it is related to lego, but it really is. Both involve working with shapes and colors to make a piece of art.

Lego is much more convenient now that I have small children. No pins! I can fix it if it comes apart, and I can take it apart and reuse it when I am done with it.

So I felt like asking, who has other hobbies, I personally make armor, helmets sheilds and chainmail mostly. How about you?

This is pretty cool. I started making chainmail once but so far I could cover and protect a cat but not a human :classic:
I enjoy reading, riding my bike and playing tennis too.

I enjoy occasionally collecting 1:64 Hotwheels and Matchbox and 1:18 Maisto and Burago cars (less so). I was much more into them when I was young teen and earlier. About once a year I get out my model paints and add details to the HW & MB cars (i.e. custom color wheels, paint engines, interiors, bottom, touch up, etc). I also love tinkering on my actual cars and driving in general. Apart from the game of food and drink, some of my friends and I love mountain biking and skiing, and I am told I'm pretty good at pool and catching fish   Posted Image

I've been dabbling in photography such as food, astrophotography, and more recently, photos of my minifigs. Pretty much anything that catches my eye.

I spend most of my time on MS Flight Sim when I'm not cleaning my car (I'm OCD about my car...), or getting muddy walking or cycling in the countryside.

Cheers

My main hobby is probably watching films, which I do an awful lot of, and am currently attempting to make a career out of. It's even harder than it sounds.

Otherwise I've been drumming for about five years, dabbled in photography and do a lot of writing (usually on said films, for mine and others' websites). Oh, and I attend a lot of gigs, festivals etc. I'm a bit of a music nut. I've recently been given an acoustic guitar too so I'll probably have a crack at learning that over summer.

I used to play quite a lot of videogames but as I have a lot less free time these days that's a much rarer occurrence. I can't say I miss it too much; everything gets a bit samey after a while.

Being in college there is not much LEGO time so most of my time is spent in other things!

My other hobbies include basketball whenever possible, baseball intermurals, going to the gym, as well as obviously studying and all that junk that goes along with it. Pretty stressful time with finals and stuff so it is definitely nice to be able to come on here and chat with some good people for a nice little break!

For me, it's primarily computer games, Lego, modding computer games, developing computer games, RPing on forums, walking for miles and miles, 3D modeling, web design, ect.

Although, I guess game developing isn't much of a hobby, since it's my career plan :P

I'm a pretty big computer-nerd in case you hadn't figured it out...

Did someone mention quilting?  I tried quilting and found it much harder than Lego.

I'm a Bmw nut myself and can often be found tinkering around with them when i'm not surrounded by my bricks. I'm on the lookout for my next piece of Munich's finest as we speak! I also play COD on the PS3 quite a bit too, i'm sure I had a wife at one point but i'm usually way to busy to go check
Way to go!

One of the few remaining drivers' cars on the market!

I'm counting down the days till next month when I'll trade in my trusty E60 for an F10. I'm eyeing a 1980s 635 as well but since the F10 will put a bit of a dent in the family finances it'll have to wait. ;)

Fun Fact: My profile picture is always the album cover for my current favourite soundtrack.
