So after weeks of waiting for parts, I got started on this ship.  It has taken me at least 7 attempts to put something together that I don't completely abhor.  I don't have enough hinge plates for the "tumblehome," and so it doesn't have one. I have been using Captain Green Hair's frigate tutorial as a guide as well as various pictures.  This is what I've cobbled together so far, but I'm still not quite satisfied with it and I'm looking for some feedback and advice from you serious shipwrights! :pir-grin:

I think one of the problems is with the gun deck.  And I have no idea what the stern and prow will look like.

Thoughts?  Ideas?  Suggestions?

You don't have to use the exact same hinge plates as in Captain Greenhair's tutoral, there are many alternatives.
Car roof plates for example or clip plates or hinge bricks, anything you can use as a hinge  :pir-classic:

I think your stern is looking very good so far. :pir-wink:

This quite a nice ship! Posted Image Perhaps the curve at the bow is somewhat weird but besides that there is no great criticism to do.

Will she be having an interior?

A ship is floating in the harbour now,

The wind is hovering o'er the mountain's brow;

There is a path on the sea's azure floor,

No keel has ever ploughed that path before

She won't be having much of an interior besides the cabin.

Thanks for the comments!
