Hi all
For once its nice to bring some new that show that Lego is not just being about a toy, but can save a life. ;o)
Some time ago the British presenter Richard Hammond, mainly know in the show Top Gear (About Cars), had a high speed crash, and where feared Brain Dead, but he have recorvered now, and by his own words, was saved by Lego
WhiteHexagon from our Forum have found this quote from The Times:
Hammond, 36, who is now expected to make a full recovery, also said that the accident had reignited his childhood love of Lego and the card game, Top Trumps. “Lego saved my life,” he said. “It’s really good therapy for a brain injury. I was a Lego fiend when I was eight and, suddenly, it was all I wanted to do again.
So if you get in trouble or have other problems, bring forward your Lego and tell people "It can someday save your Life". Read more Here...
Ofcause many mainly non Europeans should not know who Richard Hammond is, but is just interesting news for all... Not only people who see Cars shows on TV he he.
On a Personal note: Its nice that Hammond are well, and I look forward to more shows
