The inside looks wonderful, though I do have to wonder, what kinda jeweler sells tridents and such?

Seems there are enough customers who ask for golden tridents etc. :)

I'm very much looking forward to seeing what you'll do with the official buildings to make them fit with this taller one. Keep up the great work!

I added another floor to the Green Grocer today, but it's just the same as the original – on the front, that is; the back and sides are tan because I didn't want to buy so much sand green. And there's no interior yet. Anyway, it looks really good next to this house and is about the same height; I'll take some photos tomorrow.

And with some of you mentioning a dark green roof, I guess I'll photoshop one of the images to see what it would look like, but honestly I think black is still better; after all, the looks are more important than the name. :)

The facade is really great! I like the light fixture at the Main Entrance.

I think this is the 1st time i have seen Friends' mini(?!)figs together with regular minifigs!

As mentioned yesterday, here's a photo of this house next to Green Grocer with an identical second second floor:

The interior features not much yet, just some not so nice sand green places and a wall around the staircase since this is supposed to be an apartment of its own:

That does indeed look very nice, and it's a very tempting thing to do with the existing modulars. The only problem is that it'll get terribly expensive over time... :)

If you don't mind me asking, since I'm making a similar building, how do you ever get the angled corner to work? It seems to be 10 wide, with hinges, but on my model, it doesn't quite fit - the length of 10 studs is a little off.

Did you just have the corner not fit properly? I can't think of anything else that would work.

This is absolutely beautiful! I'm such a fan of classic architecture...real old classic architecture, not the crap 100 year old buildings we have here in the States. This reminds me so much of all the buildings in Stockholm and Copenhagen that I photographed four times each +. You've capture so many of the unique architectural elements that really make these buildings beautiful. The part that makes me want to curl up in a corner and cry because I didn't come up with it, though, is that lantern! Great work. I think it's beautiful.

The 7-7-10 triangle is within 0.1 stud of a Pythagorean triple. LDD will accept the connection, too, if the adjacent studs are not used.

Thanks to BraselC5048's question for bringing this MOC thread from last year back up on the list, and thanks to the other commenters, too. :)

As RoxYourBlox already replied, it's indeed just a little off – 0.1 studs = 0.8 mm –, so it still works nicely. (Never tried it in LDD, though.)
