Not really an MOC. But I was having fun pairing up my Anakin with his podracer and my Tatooine planet.

Then I came up with these two more versions.

Now this is the Tatooine Planet set I would REALLY love to see but will never happen.

The mini land speeder is the bag charm/keychain.

You'll need to remove the printed tile to do this properly.

Perhaps someday we'll get a new dewback.  Once a month I come real close to buying one on the aftermarket.

Very nice, especially the sandtrooper and dewback!

It's funny, for a planet farthest from "the bright center of the universe", a lot of interesting things happens there.

Had a proper laugh when I scrolled down and saw the Dewback "on" the display!

The easy solution would be for TLG to make the planets dimensionally transcendental.

I also laughed when I saw the Dewback  but this is a good idea for mini MOCers or a contest.

This would make a great contest. With six planets by the end of the year maybe your idea will be realised?

I mean I can already see what I intend for bespin. Either Millenium falcon or Slave 1. Deathstar has WAY too many good ones.

I would like to see people make use of the planets. Like build an internal structure for the deathstar that is revealed when you pop it open.

How about some actual Make-your-own planets? Brick-built spheres with simple coloured blocks for details... (That was my original interpretation of the Planets theme, and I still think it would work better   )
