After a long time ruling the Realm, our History Mod I Scream Clone, is stepping down and will become a Fellow again. (His life's getting too busy, for more details nag his ex-lordship.   Before anyone asks, no there is no replacement planned as yet.) Hopefully he'll still be around on EB to share his cool creations.  :cry_happy:  I will especially miss him as he's actually one of the few Staff members that I've actually met; here's a photo of me at his house last time!

Posted Image

Thus if he doesn't regularly drop by I'll have to jump on the bike and visit him...    Anyway, thanks for all your help around EB, good luck in the future, and if your situation changes you're always welcome back.

:cry_sad: We'll miss you, ISC. You really revived the forum by backing the Historica project. It feels like the history moderator slot is cursed. First Sir Dillon, than you...hopefully whoever comes next in line will have their own fantastic additions to make to the history forum. Your creations and contributions will always live on in the forum.

Bye bye ISC, you truly did a great job moderating this great forum!

Sad to see you step down, because when I think of this forum I think of you at the helm.  :cry_sad:

I now possess a depressing, and largely unexpected, absence of ideas for what it is that I could write in this space that would encourage, inspire or amuse any man, woman or child who takes the time to read this drawn-out and mindless drivel. I remain painfully aware of how this same passage could have been written in a far shorter and simplistic manner, whilst still maintaining its message and key purpose to all who take the time and effort to exercise their mind in understanding these words; however, this would barely give me half as much pleasure as the satisfaction that a large number of members on this website will soon or late find themselves working through this increasingly large collection of rubbish at least once, perhaps even twice if they begin to forget its contents. I hearby grant myself 500 bonus points for every unfortunate victim, now and in the future, that takes part in the aforementioned psychological experiment by bothering to read this huge tosh, excluding the numerous times that I myself have trawled through this... mess. Woah, I got a bit carried away there, that short message has transpired rather differently to how I was predicting it would. Actually, the bigger the better, I might as well increase its size even further by adding a long, torturous final sentence that is only as unnecessary as that whole lot of stupid, pointless waste of time was to both write, re-read, proof-read and then open for viewing by the general public. Have a nice day, folks!

As has been said before, ISC did a great job here in the History subforum. I've no doubt he'll continue to amaze us with great MOCs.

As a new member around here and in the AFOL community, I must say that ISC's MOC's and leadership over here has been a large part of me being able to get back into the hobby.  I am glad to see that you will still be around here and still MOC'ing.  Best of luck in all, that darn reall life always seems to get in the way of our hobbies!

ISC, your builds got me into MOC'ing a little over a year ago. Your Terra Volcanis MOC inspired me to start building, and I am very grateful for your help in promoting my builds on this site. Your leadership in both the forum and the Guilds have made this site categorically the best one to visit and discuss for all current and aspiring fans of the brick, and with encouragement and constant optimism and benevolence you have brought out the best in all builders who post here.

It's a good thing you'll have a bit more time for building now, I can't wait to see what you come up with! Cheers, and thank you for a great few years of leadership!
