I tried to think of a realistic addition to the Winter Village set and settled for a small barn in a farm scene.  I tried to make it look snowed in with the snow fall on the plants and fence.  I also wanted a Winter/Christmas activity.  Around my town they do carriage rides in the city, but thought a sleigh ride was perfect for a farm.

I don't have a brick count, but I thought the size of the MOC was typical of the Winter Village sets.  I am new to MOCing and appreciate any comments.

A couple of kids make a small snow hill on top of a fence to sled down.

Silver bells adorn the horse as it pulls the sleigh.

Pretty neat. I like the little barn. The other parts are nice, the little hill the kids made.

Those bells on the horse are a great idea!

Looks good! I wish I could make something like this...

A calmer coloring on the barn would be great, though...

This is awesome. I've enjoyed seeing all of the Winter Village MOCs, but this one is towards the top for me. Must be because I grew up in a rural area, so this is what I am used to seeing. A barn with sleigh rides and hay and snow hills so kids can go sledding. Brilliantly done, by the way.

I don't have to guess at all what this MOC includes.

Good luck in the contest!

I like this - its clear and simple, which I think lends to the overall contest.  Nicely done :-)
