Hello guys! Today I gonna review the biggest Dino 2012 set 5887. This is my first English review and sorry for my English, It is not my first language. So, let's start!

Box

Box is actually very big, bigger than 7879.
Posted Image Posted Image
Look at this minifigs!! So beautiful faces! And this guy in white gonna be my favorite! (Sorry for damaged piece)
Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image
And here only one feeling. "I WANNA CREATE SOMETHING!!!!"
Posted Image
But there is one bad thing. One of the stickers dissapeared somewhere. (I found it in the end, in the box)
Posted Image
The smallest dinosaur in this set.....in some minutes you will be free!
Posted Image

Instructions.

We have three of them and they all have different pictures.
Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image
First instruction.
Posted Image Posted Image
After when we opened first bag, we will get this pieces of plastic
Posted Image
Look at this torso! Is it awesome?
Posted Image
Also we have to construct our first dino (my favorite ^_^)
Posted Image Posted Image

Medium dinosaur

Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image

Minifigs

Hunter №1 with excellent face
Posted Image Posted Image
Double torso
Posted Image
Hunter №2. My favorite minifig in this set.....I called him "italian dude"
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image

New gun

Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Main part of bag №1. This is gonna be one of mine favorite "mini-jeeps"
Posted Image Posted Image
Cool new bumper
Posted Image

Some more pics

Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image

Interesting parts

Posted Image
Everything what we get from the first bag
Posted Image

Bag № 2

From this bag we gonna build "mini-helicopter"
Posted Image
More minifigs! Now with double face!
Posted Image Posted Image
Hunter № 3.
I love this torso and this head
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image
But there is one minus. When we have "happy face" in front, we can see part of "scared face" at the back
Posted Image
And the last minifig is........woman!
Hunter № 4. The only girl in this set (but maybe dinosaurs are also girls? )
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image
Finnaly! More Trans-Clear parts!
Posted Image Posted Image

Helicopter

I don't like this helicopter at all. After this review, I will create something better than this
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
After two bags and one instruction we got one jeep, helicopter, 4 minifigs, medium dino and thing for helmets
Posted Image
Posted Image

Instruction № 2

From this instruction we gonna get to more dinosaurs and nearly full HQ!
Posted Image Posted Image

Giant dino

Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
To be honest, this dino is amazing!
Bag №3. This green part is really interesting! I never saw this part before (!)
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image
I really like this parts too, so I wanna you to see it.
Posted Image Posted Image
Also in this bag we have really small chain 5 x 1. You can measure it with 2 x 4 brick.
Posted Image
After bag № 3, we got nearly full HQ exept got main tower
Posted Image
Remmember this sticker that has been lost. I found it in the box)
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image

Bag № 4

We will get two accessoriesfor towers and two extra walls.
Posted Image
As you can see we got special "web" for catching dinosaurs
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
And now......the smallest dino in our set! He contains only one piece(!) - big piece of elastic plastic.
Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
I really like a crane and a gun, but walls in its way are too weak.....I can jump over them...
Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image

Bag №5

From this bag we will get heliport and a "libary" with syringes
Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image
What we can see in the instruction
Posted Image Posted Image
Reall model!
Posted Image Posted Image
I don't know why but libary with syringes protected only from inside
Posted Image Posted Image
And why this black thing is also look inside?
Posted Image Posted Image
So what we got?
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image

Last instruction

Posted Image
What we will get from full instruction
Posted Image
An this is what we will get from bag №6
Posted Image
All parts
Posted Image
Some pics with tower
Posted Image
As you can see, there are two yellow parts inside it.....I don't know why?
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Last bag! We will get command centre and one more lattice
Posted Image Posted Image
This bag is most usefull for me, cause it have computers, windows etc.
Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Full tower. One problem: if minifig wants to get inside, he/she must ask dinosaur or me to help)
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image Posted Image
Posted Image
How we connect command centre and the tower
Posted Image
Some more pics

Nice review, lots of pictures showing all the details. It's weird that your intstructions didn't come in the plastic bag, mine did? I really like the set, but it's lacking in size a lot. It should have a few cages to house the raptor in or something. I know there can't be everything, though.

Superb set and review, the instructions and stickers seem to be getting put in a cardboard backed bag quite inconsistently, it's very annoying, can't count the amount of times that I've had to request additional sticker sheets to replace the bent and peeled of in the box ones :( I think the T-Rex trapper had them bagged but not my Triceratops set. :/

Thanks for the pic heavy review! I feel like I own the set I've seen so many details.

I will more than likely pass on this set, but it is nice having some new molds and new printed figures. I like the new yellow corner wall pieces, but I don't know what I'd use them for other than this set/color scheme.

Keep up the good reviews.

Thanks for this review 'ZoomZoom', I'm wondering when 'Peppermint_M' will use that female torso for her female heroes eh ?
Actually I'm impressed, the vehicles are just okay, but the enclosure is a solid build and a great looking play set...might I say again 'Terra Nova' inspired eh ?
I might twist my arm for just this big set later in the year, once I have got all the city stuff I want and SH for my son.

Thank you for the review!
The overly realistic dinosaurs are growing on me now, and the size of the T-Rex is incredible! :classic:

I always liked this set, but $100 is a big investment. I'll probably pick it up if it gets down to $50...

Really nice review!

Bought this set for my eldest son the other day as we've just turned his room into a dinosaur room with hanging vines, dinosaurs and lots of plant life and wall stickers so it fitted in nicely.

I loved the set. I mainly buy licensed sets so I was not sure on this one initially but I am now a convert. just a shame there won't be anymore for a while.

Finally picked up this set on sale last week. I absolutely love it! The base is fantastic with tons of cool features, the two vehicles are fun (I don't get the mini-copter hate), the minifigures are nifty (although I wish there was more than just one girl in the line), and the dinosaurs are simply awesome! If only I'd had a set like this when I was a kid! As it stands, I keep the Tyrannosaurus rex here on my desk with me to menace my Minifigures collection.

Did anyone else have a sticker left over when they finished this set? I just finished building it with my son and after looking through all three booklets twice I can't find where I'm supposed to place one particular large "D" sticker.

I have mixed feelings about the finished HQ itself but my son loves it. The two larger dinosaurs are great though with plenty of articulation and the T-Rex is awesome for it's size alone (looking forward to see how it compares to a Rancor...).
